I have one the same 5th from 1983 . No airbags . We like to die like real mans.:) it's fun to drive the car in Chicago. Everyone it's looking.

Does it have airbags?

The 1989 model year has a driver side frontal airbag. But all other prior to that don’t.

Yes, and it worked during the time I had it. New owner actually drove it from Houston to a show in Chicago and back with no issues. Won best of show.
