NIIIICEEE..!! EXSACTLY like the one I had in high school!! Don't remember what yr this/yours is, but I had an 85.. Best years for iroc (in my opinion) 85,88,89.. they chinced a lil w smaller rims in 86 and 87! Irocs exp in 87 were same as reg z28 and 15" wheels and just gutless!! Hate seeing a sweet ride sumwhat beat on in this video.... BUUUT their sports cars and you paid for it so i'll enjoy it brother!!! smoove ride, it's sick dope ridin dirty like that!! roll out lol :-D -be

let me ask you something please!!when you put the lower springs...did the car bumps on the rear???i have a 1982 trans am and i put both times lower springs..the first time i put top spring red ones...and the second time i put TEIN the green ones!both times the car was bumpig in the back even when cross a little stone on the street!it seems like the shocks are going to their end stops!!do you have the same problem?if yes..how do you solve it?thanks a lot!

i am also a proud owner of an iroc-z mine is a 86 with a 350 .60 over heads cam the basic puts down around 400hp but the 5 dislikes on this video were ford owners for sure

oh man cant wait till my 86 Iroc-Z is ready for the road! The old owner Put a Rebuilt 350 in it with an L82 Cam. That car is a beast.

If your car has enough power you can just floor it and the tires will spin and spin and spin. Brakestands are for when you dont quite make enough power and you gotta hold up the front because they arent spinning fast enough and are getting some traction.

Very nice Iroc, just run the 305 till it gives up and then drop an lsx motor in it. People expect you to have tpi, and when they get there doors blown off by an Iroc/lsx its great.

dad just bought me a 83" Z28 305 last week for $500 flat, has full 3" flowmasters, 600cfm edelbrock performer carb, hooker shortys, power+ intake, 4" cowl, and blacked out taillights. a little here and theres to take of after we get the engine hot tanked. -- other than that, its pretty insane. (btw 'mrbrisk' -- that iroc is *deadly*)

hilltop.....actually chevy made the 302 as well in 69 Z28s. Ford I think was running 289s then. @Mattjagerreed 305 5.0. The Tuned Port Injection on the Irocs were designed for 305s and chevy slapped them on 350s. Changing the # of the injectors. Thats why all the foxbody guys were talkin smack about the Iroc but in reality it was the weaker 305 they outran not the L98 350. Swapping to the corvette heads (before vortecs and the baseplate were designed) and you guys could enjoy the tailights

87 305 TPI. boat anchors mostly... but make wicked torque.. probably why he keeps it within the torque band when doing the heaters..... trust me... i own a 25th aniversary ;) i believe it would be the same RPO code as mine for the 305? the LB9?
