I love it I think it's really nice. I love all the old models of RVs and trailers. They were made so much better. The layouts are awesome

Thanks. Of course, I've made a few modifications and fixed a few flaws.

I pretty much have the exact one I have no idea how to fill the water up ect

I didn't open each hatch, but water fill is easy. Just unlock, remove cap, and insert hose adapter connected to a filter. When the water comes spilling out it's full. Just check for leaks and rust.

Any updates/progress on your RV? Looks like a good foundation. I kinda like the old school style. Any more info on the engine and gas mileage and or handling? Any leaks in the front bed above the cab?

Since then, I've had to do more work on the exhaust manifold and gaskets. The manifolds were heat warped and I had to install copper gaskets to deal with the heat. Strange thing. The manufacturer says the manifolds I have are for a 1994 engine, not 1988. Not sure why. No leak in the bed over the cab. Fixed a few in the bathroom roof. As long as the spark plugs wires aren't melted, I average 7mpg.

@@DevilTravels Thanks for the update. I'll be looking at one exactly like yours next week, so your walk thru was very helpful. I watched your other videos on wind and solar. Interesting ideas. Thanks again.

Why does the electrical panel sounds like it has a fan and it gets hot down there? That's what's happening in my RV, anyone?
@DevilTravels4 жыл бұрын
There could be a fan in the electrical panel to keep the charging circuit cool. If it's not working up to speed, it might need cleaning or replacing. The panel will get warm normally but if it seems too hot, then you may need to get a can of compressed air and blow out any dust that has accumulated. Also, check your batteries frequently to insure there is adequate distilled water (deep cycle acid batteries) as weakened batteries can draw additional current from the charging circuit. Also, make sure you ALWAYS use a surge protector for shore power.

Thank you very much, im trying to find a 25 foot one and looking to see different brands like yours

Most state and government parks dont take over 25 feet.

how much?

That's the thing about buying an older RV. The initial cost is just the start. $6000 to start but almost that much more to upgrade and fix the problems found after the test runs.
