This is quite the rare sighting! This race wasn't part of the AMA Supercross series at all, it was done by a separate promoter. Here are all the rounds of the 1988 AMA Supercross season: · Houston, Seattle TWICE (saturday+sunday), Daytona, Pontiac TWICE (same), Dallas, Tampa, New Jersey (Giants Stadium) & Los Angeles Rick Johnson dominated the 250cc class over Ron Lechien and Jeff Ward. Jeff Matiasevich barely edged out Mike Kiedrowski and Larry Ward in the 4-race 125cc West championship while future FMX driver almost won the 6-race 125cc East championship but lost it on the final race against Todd DeHoop
