I would go as far as to say that that very proud Native American warrior is more intelligent than any of those morons hands down. Sure made me proud to have native blood. I pray that the native people of this country get what they have long deserve for thousands of years. It's really heart breaking.

You are lucky. Thank your parents. I am Irish so I have no personal experience with what Mr. Means speaks about. However I needed to learn Spanish because I was going to Latin America to study and do research. I was shocked when I saw the students in my first Spanish class in the U.S. More than half the class was made up of Mexican American students whose parents were afraid to teach them Spanish. Their parents had been hit by their public school teachers if they were “caught” speaking Spanish. If they spoke English with any Spanish accent they would be turned down for jobs etc. So there I sat in Spanish class along with many people who had Mexican/Spanish names and who bore the traits of their ancestor’s faces as we learned the Spanish alphabet, conjugated verbs and memorized vocabulary with people who could have easily grown up bilingual and saved all of that trouble
