1989 City Toronto Fire Station 20 B shift

In the days before bunker suits. And very big cameras....A couple of calls we responded to. Nothing too exciting. One was smell of gas in sewers. After using our high tech equipment...our noses....! we cleared as it was not considered dangerous. The other call was driving to medical.

Caught my first fire out of this hall as a recruit out relieving on the back of a 3 man aerial in ‘96. Great hall.

My father was an etobicoke firefighter he worked with a guy who had a brother on toronto that worked at this firehall, his name was glenn greaves he must be retired now.

I remember pumper 19 at dufferin and dupont fire hall. I lived just down the street and my friends and I used to visit the fire hall quite a bit. That's going back awhile.

Why does this look and sound like the Chicago ZaffDoc videos I mean from camera quality to sound? Maybe same approximate time period? I mean even the cities Toronto and Chicago look a like at least some of it does with the older buildings residential, church and commercial.
