I love it! I had a dark blue one with a beige lower two tone. Also a 5 speed and let me tell you, these were/are absolutely great and under rated trucks. Cheers!

I could have had a new 86 Ranger when I was in highschool but just could not work out a deal with the Truck Manager at the Ford dealer I was working as a service Porter he kept preasure in me to buy it but would not make me a sweet deal my parents did not want me in debt I was in my senior year they just saw the job as getting my feet wet in the working world they wanted me to get a real trade job type job the truck was a special order for the Rail Road and they did not take it because they always over order I think it just became a service truck for the dealership it was a 4x4 regular cab Turbo Diesel it had A:C & stereo it was a 5 spd decent little truck the truck manager asked me what is this guy paying you I said $4 hour he said wow I won’t pester you no more he just shook his head & mumbled cheap bastards
