@@sos15_yt Yes, but in GB you might have to demonstrate to a pedantic plod that you could do up your harness using one hand as that's a requirement in the Construction and Use regulations. I looked this up when a car of mine was failed for having 3 point harnesses fitted. I then got the relevant page photocopied from the book in the library, perfected the art of doing it up one handed and then went back for a retest and dared the tosser who tested and failed it to not pass it! I imagine plod might take your car off the road if it had anti-lag that that though. It was annoying me and i'm only watching it on video!

@@sebastianbrajkovic As a car, the golf will certainly be better in reliability, cost of ownership (including fuel consumption and consumables like brakes and tires), usability, finding parts, overall comfort. The road version of most cars have nothing in common to the WRC cars so comparing how many world titles a model has is irrelevant. The fact is the Golf GTI is also an icon which to this day over 45 years later is still one of the most sold cars on the planet while the Delta Integrale doesn’t exist. As an enthusiast I would obviously pick a Delta Integrale over any golf that has ever existed but that doesn’t make it a better car.

@@augustortiz as a modified car enthusiast, I have slightly different opinion... The average person can't afford any of the great Fiats or Lancias, and like you said these cars are so rare they practically don't exist. Integrale Evo 2 is probably one of the easiest to find... for an insane price. Delta S4 is almost a museum piece and arguably too valuable to drive. I would simply get a base model Delta from Europe and start from scratch.. I would use the same Lampredi base motor but a more common variant such as the Fiat Croma 16V, reverse crossflow. Ritmo / X19 box, all synchro 5-speed Bacci close ratios, Bacci lsd. Rear wheel drive, mid engine, transverse layout. Dual-charged induction. Cage, Stradale trim, custom dash, Tillett seats or equivalent. Totally fifty thousand over four years. Could also be based on an X19 or lancia prisma, dedra, or fiat regata... Another option would be to use the a lancia scorpion or Montecarlo as the base... All very different cars but very doable and for a quarter of the price.
