'Top Speed Germany' is a German KZfaq channel for people who love cars.
My Name is Max and I film while driving cars. No matter if they are old, fast, loud or electric. They need to be special! With several onboard cams, I record everything important to show you High-Speed-Runs, Acceleration tests ( 0-100 kph / 0-200 kph / 100-200 kph / 200-300 kph ) and test drives on German Autobahn or Road. Please note, Germany is the country of "no speed limit" highways. So in some places, it's allowed to drive very fast. But please don't try this if you are not an experienced driver !! If you enjoy give a like and subscribe for more videos ;-) .

This is number one bullshit. I've had one, and other cars before and since. It was a good car for its time, but the modern equivalent has driver modes to maximise comfort or sportiness, and is therefore far better in each area. It's a different league and anyone who thinks Mercedes ride quality has gone backwards is ignoring the facts. Good car, for an old car.

@@mrwitteridge3949 The modern Mercedes S Class with magic body control has amazing ride quality, but the modern C and E Class? It's shit mate I've had W204, W205, W212, C207. My 190e rides nicer than any of them any time, any mode any road. Sorry but modern cars are compromised towards a sportier feel and as such the ride quality is compromised, depends what you're after.

Well there is i slight diverence to a modern car, compared to the newer ones. The reason why newer cars are "slightly less in quality" is because they are made to do so. So you can buy new parts and the cars still would be safe (in most of the cases). The older cars are made with the knowledge of them being durable and strong, but with the downside that these automobiles are death threats no. 1, ones they've made a huge collision. I'm not telling your right nor wrong, i'm just explaining the reasonings behind it.

Rana Gulraiz Hassan now Mercedes isn’t run by engineers anymore so they don’t care about making a highly quality product that makes people genuinely love the brand. It’s ran by businessmen who just want to make as much money as they can. In the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s Mercedes was run by engineers, and it showed in the quality and reliability of the cars they made. I’m sad to say it, but Mercedes is losing touch with what people want and just slap as much technology in there cars as they can and call it a luxury car, just like every other car company at the moment. We need Mercedes to go back to being run by engineers so that the company will survive long into the future.

Great car! This and the W124 are just unbeatable in terms of reliability. And i think this 132hp is faster and quicker accelerating than modern day 132hp non turbo car...it runs so well. And the condition of this car is just superb

This video reminds me pleasant memories! I used to have a "Baby-Benz" a few years go ("W 201" 190 E 2 L - 122 ch - 4 speed manual 4 but... "Confort"). The 4 cylinder "M 102" wasn't a master piece of music, but it ran smooth whether it is cold or hot! Time is passing by but the 190 E doesn't know about it 😋! Thanks for sharing 😊! One tip if I may? Before opening the doors or starting the engine, be careful with the keys ! They are made of soft metal so that they can break into the Neiman 😉!

I own a 2.0e and it's remarkable quick even while it's a automatic. It feels like a V6 so smooth. I do miss a 5th speed on the freeway however, but with my roof open it's great. Unfortunately I overheated my car due to a cooling problem. My garage overlooked something.

I used to have this same car/engine. That car is good for 210+ top speed. Since the gear box is VERY high geared, you have to push the 4th gear to the rev limiter (wich is well over 200kph) and then push 5th gear ;)
