Best game i have ever visited. And we never mention Ellerman, but he scored a lot for us PSV. Ofcourse we all remember Romario. We went crazy of joy!

PSV -FC Magdeburg (UEFA Cup 1978) was in mijn ogen de meest zinderende qua scoreverloop. Maar bij PSV - Steaua beklijven vooral de beauties van doelpunten van Romario en Ellerman. Ook kwalitatief van hoogstaand niveau.

this match was the end of a great team - Steaua 1986-1989 , champion of Europe in 1986 (2-0 with FC Barcelona) , semifinalist in 1988 and again finalist in 1989 (0-4 against AC Milan) , then this nightmare coming 1-5 with PSV , despite 1-0 victory in the second leg , then in december 1989 revolution in Romania ,communist Ceausescu executed , Romania became free and then Steaua stars goes to play in West ,almost all the players of this team ...Hagi , Lacatus, Dan Petrescu, Ilie Dumitrescu etc ...was the end of a beautiful era for romanian club teams...Steaua and Dinamo or Universitatea Craiova (the best 3 teams in Romania in the 80's) ,but also the start of a beautiful national team - Romania 1990-2000 , 10 years of great achievements , no.5 in the FIFA ranking (december 1995) ,best place took ever by Romania in international football (national teams)

It's 1989 and there are 7 foreign players in PSV team??? Danes Lerby, Nielsen, Heintze and Povlsen, Czech Chovanec, Brazilian Romario and Belgian Gerets. How come??? Bosman rule started in 1995...

Au jucat slab cu totii in acel meci . Au si prins olandezii o zi mare iar Romario a fost excelent . Mie mi-a placut saritura lui Lung la primul gol ! Nu-i bai , i-am eliminat pe Ajax dupa 24 de ani de atunci !

vorbesti povesti...intradevar poate in urma unor discutii organizatorice a meciurilor s-a semnat si acel contract insa a specula ca s-a cedat o calificare este deja prea mult, apararea Stelei era varza, lucru vazut inca din primavara acelui an in finala cu Milan

🤣🤣🤣Dude, stop watching tv. Steaua played 2 CL finals from 86 to 89 and other 2 semifinals. One of the best teams in Europe!

@@watford062 Without English Teams ; and after 1-1 and 0-0 with Kuusisi Lahti ,from Finland ; i am romanian but that Steaua was a bunch of lucky loosers, every players was stolen from different teams in Romania. The owner of that steaua was dictator Ceausescu !

@@gabrielstan9907 De acord. Omul habar nu avea habar cum sa se pozitioneze la lovituri libere. Pe langa acest dezastru, a facut-o la Kosice in 1993 (parca de doua ori chiar), la Sofia in 1988, si astea sunt doar doua care imi vin in minte la repezeala.
