Beautiful Bikes! My Dad had one of these back when they were new(ish) in the early 90s. I always loved the looks of the Blue & White GSXRs with their dual round headlights. I'm not really sure where these all went, even 20 years you NEVER saw these out on the road. That motor whether in the GSXR, Katana or Bandit is just a bombproof motor with good torque and HP even if it doesn't scream like the later liquid cooled 1000s.

So lucky to have them, I had a 1989 and I loved it. Please but the mirrors back on the Red/Black one! So wish I had it today, such a beautiful looking machine and they're still are quick.

Thanks for sharing your bikes. Very nice.👍 I'm restoring a 90 black and silver. By restore, I mean a functional and cosmetic restoration. I don't have the budget for a serious restoration. Mine came with rear LED turn signals. Of course I didn't like or want them. I wanted the OEM's but was having a hard time finding them. Instead. I used 89-90 GS500 front signals. They have a slightly shorter stock by about 1 1/2". They look great and only a Keen eye would notice. Mine has 90k miles 😲. Under the cam cover looks new. Shows no wear on the cams at all.👍 I have a walk around video. I've gathered most all the bits and pieces I need. Not totally stock but reasonably close.

Beautiful bikes Danny and thanks for sharing them with us. I have five Gixxers (86, 87 and 90 750’s) and (88 and 90 1100’s). Love them all and appreciate the subtle (and major differences) they hold. 🤙 Best of luck on your third project bike and make her your black and gray color scheme! Hey Danny. 2 GORGEOUS Bikes. Thanks for sharing them. One of my mistakes in life was selling my 1990 GSXR1100 that was the Black with Silver you speak of. It was only 1 of 2 in that color that was coming into my local dealership here is Calgary, Alberta that year. I had a 1988 katana 600 at the time and when I saw pictures of the GSXR I knew I had to buy it. Made the deal in January and bike was delivered in March once it arrived in Canada. Bike was mint when I sold it. Sure wish I could find it again as I would buy it back in a heartbeat. The power was simply amazing. I bought a 1991 last year for $200 that is in pieces but I got everything with it. Hopefully I get some time in next couple of years to get it all back together and get it running. Cheers Brad

Yep I had the blue and white one....Also had the 90 black and gray for 7 years...That one was stolen right out of my garage....With any luck they crashed and burned on it....
