Those are the original designed decals. It was an “extra value pkg.” I was a Toyota parts Mgr. for a long time, and that year as well. The ONLY thing that ever went wrong with those 22RE motors was the front crank seal and the four valve cover grommets leaked. Other than that, we sold almost nothing for those old trucks. This thing is gorgeous

I drive a 1990 SR5 every day. 155,555k miles and still 200k more on it.. Got 350k out of my last yota4x4 and 250 on the 1980 i hade before tht one.. Toyotas forever baby!!

My dad had one of these trucks the 4X4 4 cylinders one! Every time I see one of these trucks just gives me nostalgia. I wouldn't mind owning one of these trucks myself!! I think he drove well over 400k miles!!

I have one of these now it’s a 1993 4x4 with the 3.0 single cab stick shift with of today 4/27/2022 198,403 miles on it love my little pickup 🛻

That is definitely a beautiful well taken care of little truck. I just bought a red 89 4x4 3.0 engine 5speed body pretty much rust free. No running yet but it is definitely a survivor I will get it better. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun enjoy

With these older vehicles do you have to have classic car insurance? I’m out of the loop on that kinda thing with older vehicles.

You do if you want what you paid for it in the event of a loss, but classic car insurance is extremely restrictive on how much and when you can drive it. Might can workout a stated value policy with your insurer. check first, as they wont let you daily it or use it like a truck.
