On the healing bench today is a $199.91 (yes I priced it up) modded PS4 Controller made by HYPR with Hall Effect analogs.
After 3 months of build and delivery time, the customer used it for less than an hour and really wasn't happy with it. We teardown the controller and repair everything we find wrong with it.

Hi I have been looking to install hall effect sticks amongst other mods into my dualshock 4, I heard you mention that the modules in this video were not the best on the market because of the lag I was hoping you could tell me which the best ones are? I was actually wanting to mail the controller in to you and pay you to do it because I'm not super experienced at controller mods but realize you are in the UK so you cant do it for me. But if you could give me the name of the best hall effect sticks as well as the best clicky trigger/bumpers/button kit I would greatly appreciate it, thanks man!

Great vid - I am looking at hall effect for an xbox XS controller, would the ones you use in this vid be a good option or the ones with manual calibration? Edit any calibration software for xbox one?

i have to use a small amount of electrical tape around the thumbstick stem to get all directions to reach 100% when calibrating with ds4-tool or else only some directions, like up, will reach 1.0 while down will only go as far as 0.98. when done calibrating i take the tape off and ranges are perfect.

You have to touch the controller housing only very slightly while spinning slow circles! And then repeat the process a few times if needed

yep same as mine, down right down left was only going 0.98, used the same method now works fantastic.

Why i cant calibrate range on my dualsense? Circularity stays the same even if i recalibrate 20 times. Am i doing something wrong?

I'm so sad I watched the video of the 2.0 revision with the jitterfix because I ordered mine recently with no refund or order cancelation option... Apparently there's a newer 3.0 revision but there's not much information about it. If I seem to get it, I'll definitely update this comment about it, it seems it's a red pcb with black writting on it just like the dualsense and xbox one/series x replacements. I have no idea so I'll just let you know soon Edit: The revision with red background and black text for the ds4 fixes everything. Use that one!

Did you test blue analogs ? I tested yelow (red), yellow (white and black) and blue analogs then I stated the blue analogs are the best in Dualshock 4 and Dualsense (I didn't test in xbox controller) because it has the haviest click and it has less dead zone. I didnt test durability in all analogs because I've been using blue for 4 month (in dualsense) and this is working. I play 2-8 hour per day in FPS games. I apologize in advance for any language mistakes, but I don't speak English fluently.

Do you know what brand of Mod ribbon these Controller companies are using? are the majority of them Extreme rate kits?

A lot of them do use extremerate kits. This company(Hypr) seem to use their own oem parts, but they honestly seem way worse than what extremerate offers.

This is a unknown mod flex and not a very good one TBH there are better ones out there. Extreme Rate I "rate" higher!

I've just ordered mine with no option to refund until they get here. As far as I'm concerned there's a new revision of the reds that fixes this lag. I'm not sure, I'll tell you once my set gets here just test them out by yourself, but it could be the wrong set too, like the dualsense and the xbox series x ones are red and black Whatever you do, please give us feedback because if there's a newer revision it would be awesome to know

We do alot of internal mods for customers. We tend to keep away from cosmetic mods though. We can do all the rear buttons, Static or remap, even rapid fire. Hall effect sticks. Clicky face buttons. Smart triggers and bumpres ect.. ect.. All done in our own over engineered way. We get to see all the modders work. SCUF, Battle Beaver, Hypr, AIM, Custom Controllers and ExtremeRate ect.. and how they fail so we can make it better and long lasting repair.

We can make fully upgraded controllers. We just dont do cosmetic stuff. Function and reliability over cosmetics.
