Well nice to see Efren during his heydays. Thanks for these tapes. Yeah i keep hearing a lot about how good the young efren was, and busti and earl and archer... hope to see more of classic tapes like this.

+redsoil5...........the thin cut is not a straight on shot......he puts some English on the the cue ball to spin the cut ball.

I really enjoyed this. Thanks for posting it. I think it’s the oldest match I’ve seen between the G.O.A.T. and Earl. I can’t believe Earl actually clapped, a real clap, for Efren. You won’t see that happen very often. 🤣😂🤣😂

now this was some great action despite the editing I'm sure it was a hell of a set either way if there was no editing for the match but dang Efren back then knew how to cut those shots clean and still to this day a legend and an idol to the pool community

Strickland was a lot more classy back in the day, and on top of that he was getting the rolls way more than Efren. I think I saw he had two golden breaks, fluked a bank and then fluked a safety right after. Luck was definitely on stricklands side.

I've seen only one instance where Strickland seemed peeved after losing to Reyes. He's very appreciative of Reyes' prowess and admires him. And they are friends.

Maybe ESPN could do that (to a lesser degree) and make it more compact instead of deleting 70% of the games and showing them walk around and picking line ofr the 30% they do play. That may be the magic formula.
