I wonder if G&G had lost this worlds if they would have been more motivated to compete in Albertville. But this worlds and the Goodwill games showed they lost their edge.

Katia was pregnant with Daria, so they would not have skated in Albertville either way. At this point they wanted to go pro.

Ya know, you can't really say Brasseur and Eisler should've won because they started in 4th and like 9 different things had to fall into place to get them to 1st. However, they should've at least won the long.

except the short program Braseur and Isler had was flawless so they should have been marked higher but they do not do that the judges do score shoping as we found out in 2000 salt lake city with sale and Pelltier the russians made a few mistakes like stepping out of a side bye side jump and a wobbly throw triple yet sale and Pelltier were perfect no mistakes and they got the silver at first that is what they did to Brasseur and Issler

Kristi skating pairs then. lol Wish she would have stayed, but maybe she wouldn't have won Olympic gold. Does anyone think that if her pairs coach would have been still alive that she would have still tried to do both? We kinda felt it especially if he was sick. That would be devasting and Kristi would probably not want to hurt Jim in that way.

just a big jock natasha and arthur did not win this! like at 1994 olympics. they were technicly way way way superior to the other couples!!!!

Yeah, the artistry of both this pair and G and G was light years ahead of the Canadians. I think D and M should have won, G and G second and the Canucks third. Isabelle nearly touched down on both her throws and they just looked sloppier in general.

Ok. I adore Rudy, and of course Kristi is great, but that was like 12 minute fluff piece. I don't care about Kristi eating corn flakes with kristy.
