The true story of my experiences upgrading a twin stereo Denon based system to a 5 channel AV system at a time when widescreen TV was appearing along with, sVHS video, Laserdisc players and eventually UK digital television services during the 1990s, using all new contemporary products.
The video contains the full system description, my personal opinion on the performance of the equipment, the experiences of learning about and selecting components and being an early adopter to widescreen TV, Laserdisc players and sVHS videocassette recorders and players along with thoughts about the whole ownership experience with full details on how much was paid at the time and what that would be worth nowadays.
Scripted and presented by Vince. Filmed on an iPhone 14 Pro with audio captured on a Røde ME wireless microphone then edited on an iPad Pro (6th generation) within the LumaFusion editing App using stills from the Keynote App and a selection of personal photos. All photographs and video are original as taken by me or my family at the time.
