My brother and I were there for that game and it was truly special. I lost my brother a few years back but the one thing I can always look back on with fond memories was me and him going to 33rd Street and watching the O`s.

What a wonderful tribute to Orioles baseball at Memorial Stadium. To see Earl Weaver a the final person in an O's uniform come out was an amazing and emotional sight.

What a season to remember, all those amazing players, having Bob Turley who opened Memorial Stadium and Mike Flanagan who closed it standing on the mound together, to alot of the big name players from 54 to 91 (Bob Turley, Boog Powell, Frank Robinson, Brooks Robinson, Cal Ripkin, Jim Palmer, and all of the other names), to the World Series teams of 1966 and 1983, to Earl Weaver on the field again, to Rick Dempsey leading an Orioles Cheer for the final time, to personal childhood memories, and to hear Rex Barney say his iconic "Thank You" there for the last time, it was truly a memorable day. I was lucky enough to be there for the day before, but couldn't get tickets for the final day. What great memories of a grand old lady and a bonifide field of dreams. Rest Easy old girl and Thank you for the memories.

My goodness....the great Chuck Thompson was about 80 years old at the time of this broadcast....and he sounds just as good then as when he was the Birds regular announcer during their heyday in the late 60s and early 70s.....

Nice to hear Jon Miller again. Bought the 13-game Sunday ticket plan to make sure I could go to this game, which I attended with my brother. I can still picture Mike Flanagan slowly (very slowly) walking in from the bullpen in the 9th inning, and see his footprints on the infield dirt.

This is actually my video and soon ill upload it at better quality but every time i watch it i get tears....Memorial Stadium is where most of my Orioles best memories came from, Not knocking Camden Yards because that place is the blue print for modern parks today but memorial is where Orioles Magic happen.

I have the video that I recorded that day from my seat between third base and home. No studio chat, of course, just the PA announcing, but its really good quality.

Does he say it? It looks like he doesn't say it! I'm looking for a video of him saying it. I was astonished to hear it at my first game at Camden Yards in 1995 (what a year for that... i didn't know it was an older catchphrase until today)

I can remember being there with my dad and both of us kept saying "We can get through this without crying and totally losing it." We both lost it as soon as Brooksie was shown in the dugout. All I kept thinking was that I never saw anyone jump so high as he did after the O's won the 1966 World Series.

I only went to one game at Memorial Stadium, in 1980, but I am enjoying watching the way they did the last game there. I grew up in New Jersey, and I went to the last game at Connie Mack Stadium (formerly Shibe Park) in Philadelphia in 1970. My dad took me to the game, and I was 15 years old. Shibe Park opened in 1909, and the Athletics and then the Phillies played there. Before the game had even finished, people were tearing the stadium apart. They walked out with rows of seats and everything else they could dismantle (I have a bolt that used to hold seats together, that's all). When the game ended, people (I don't want to call them "fans") poured onto the field. The players ran for their lives into the clubhouses. My dad said, "We'd better get out of here." I admire the way the Baltimore fans behaved at the last game at Memorial Stadium and the way the club honored the former and current Orioles.

I was pissed at my Dad for us leaving after the final out, I wish I was there for post game ceremonies. The Orioles were not the last baseball team to call Memorial home, the AA Bowie Baysox played there next year. Tippy's Cantina, run by former Oriole pitcher and then Towson U. baseball coach Tippy Martinez was the minor league version of Boog's Barbecue that year.

My brother-in-law took my nephew to that game. My sister had a girl scout outing and my brother-in-law took my nephew to McDonalds. When he picked the test up he said "look what I found" and had 2 tickets to the game. That little guy was so excited. He made my brother-in-law stop by the house so they could record the game before they went to the stadium. He also took him to the first game at The Yard.

It was something about driving to the game as a kid and when you saw a glimpse of the upper deck and you knew you were close. The way they painted the seats if someone told you they were blue seats you knew they were the good close ones .

I was about 4 or 5 years old back in the 80's ('86, '87 or '88) my parents took me and my brother to Memorial Stadium to watch our very first ball game. I would cry every time the crowd cheered cuz i didn't like the loud noise of the crowed every time they cheered in response to what was going on the baseball field.

Dedicated as a memorial to all who so valiantly fought in the world wars with eternal gratitude to those who made the supreme sacrifice to preserve equality and freedom throughout the world -time will not dim the glory of their deeds.
