In 1991 this car cost about $30,000, which is about $60,000 in 2018. Also it's pretty amazing for a car from 1991 to have this many features. Many cars today don't even have some of these features. Beautiful example. 1992 base Corvette very similar except base engine moved up to the LT1 with 300 maximum horsepower.

Barbie is not a selling point and the C2 Split-Window is easily the most iconic Corvette, I like C4’s but there’s a reason why they’re undervalued.

I own a '94. I think the one I have was rated at 300HP/330LbFt. For anyone that hasn't driven one of these cars, I encourage them to do it. They hold you tight, accelerate, corner and brake like they were made to do it, and they're cheap. Just go test drive one, its "faster than a raped ape" as my mechanic put it. Be careful though, they do have a little too much power for the weight.

With my 1991 C4 base coupe with the 6-speed manual, I regularly get 17mpg around town and 26mpg on the highway. Being that both 5th and 6th gears are overdrives, if ya keep your foot out of it, it gets really respectable mileage! I've always preferred the manuals. The automatics are for lazy people. A true sportscar never has an automatic! IMO ha ha...I didn't care for the C4's until I bought this one. Mine is red with the gray leather interior. The ingress and egress leave a little to be desired, but once you get used to it, it's not too bad.

The pedals are way too close together and not much room down there, so i could see why alot of people would get an automatic. But i know what you mean, my honda accord is manual and way more enjoyable to drive than the same thing with an automatic. I have had two C4s both 96s Both 6 speeds. A black LT4, and Grand Sport # 901. To get in/ out I would open the door sit on seat swing my legs over, to get out swing my legs out sit on the frame rail and stand up. I am 6' 3".

Export versions of car, where steering wheel, is on right, does not need different part #, on console mounted, rear release button, is my guess. Nice video!

Wrong about the tires 255 on front 285 on the rear and the ports on the lower front fenders are vents not fins

And the vents are functional, they are there to release air pressure that builds up under the hood at high speeds.

Why are so many of you young peoples car reviews filled with ignorance, American automobiles have offered power seats since the early 1950s and that includes Corvettes, power windows power door locks cruise control and climate control. American cars have always had those options…giving a review when you’re so filled with ignorance doesn’t turn out good. So do some studying first.
