Wow a lot of negative comments on here, I rebuilt a 96 national dolphin 38 foot inside and out and I enjoyed every minute of it, as long as you have the time money and know how it is fun. Now I have a bus with 34000 miles and everything around the engine was upgraded from the fuel snd oil pumps fuel rods, upgraded injectors, new raditor and trans coolers, new parking brake, got rid of the auto park system and much much more it took 5 years but I enjoyed it and I spent about 40000 dollars between me and mechanics doing it. plus the inside was upgraded. Sorry for rambling on I just am proud of what I was able to do, I look forward to seeing thus upgrade

TJ.. I M subscribing... I own a 2006 HR Admiral... Even though it's entry level... It's built better than most newer RV's... This unit you have here is built even better.. I will eagerly await for updates... You have my moral support.. I can't wait to see it when you have it all up and going fully

Very nice coach I've never seen one with this color of wood before I just bought one two weeks ago a 1996 Holiday Rambler Endeavor LE with tag axel only 23000K miles and 141 hours on the generator just needs a paint job.

I was able to get lights, wall plugs, and fridge working, so far. Part of the problem was the Bosch solenoids used to enable & disable the house batteries. I took jumpers, and connected them from the batteries to the solenoid pins, and presto, the lights came on. We also hooked the HR to a 50 plug, instead of using the 110v adapter. I found the converter/ charger, located under the couch, and turned it on. Under the hood, all of those relays, are plugged into the control board, which I can find no information on. Updates as I go!

I've got the 1990 version of this RV. I've also not been able to dig up much information on it! I've been slowly just fixing things one by one.

I would fix it myself. And I would enjoy every minute of it. The opening that has no door. Is to Access the power steering reservoir

Hi, thank you for posting this video. I really enjoyed it. The power of the internet nowadays, I'm about to buy a 92 HR Limited. Basically just like yours, and very good, your video helped so much in understanding the layout and small details. What was the update of your engine idle issue?

Cats are only temporary, my daughter is living in the mh until she gets a place. Bubble machine is a great idea though!

@@Synthfidel lovely bus,, beautiful inside. All the electrical, lights, generator, fans, water pump, etc needs a leisure battery, that's separate from engine batteries. I have a 91 Gulfstream, here in Spain, iv lived in it for 10 years. Good luck.

You are going to spend a fortune to get that bus going again if you try to do it on the cheap you will regret it. To bad it was neglected so long otherwise it would have been a nice coach. Good luck👍

A lot of the repairs on this is just simple fixes. You can be frugal with some things and not regret it. The chassis is about as simple as you can get, that helps! But sadly when it comes to replacing RV appliances, cheap is typically not the way to go. I have the 1990 version of this RV and its sticker price was $230,000. They were expensive rigs in their day!

@@dieterlange7581 LOL Yeah I know Right! :D The "fancy stuff" is the illusion that sold these things! These coaches were expensive only because they were on a Gillig Bus Chassis and the body structure was built out of aluminum and not wood. Short of the oak cabinetry, everything else was cheap plastic RV crap made by other RV companies. They did this with the body too! Mercury Sable Tail Lights (1988), Town Car cornering Lights (1987) and even the power window motors are from a Jeep Cherokee. Luckily this makes finding parts easy, you just have to figure out what there were originally made for. As for the RV specific items, it probably is best to just replace what doesn't work with modern RV components. The electronics and plastics used in the RV industry was pretty much garbage in the 90s. I've just been fixing the quick and easy, replacing the rest.

My only critique is that incessant high-pitched alarm signal that was going off. My brain couldn't take it and I had to mute the channel audio. Sorry but my ears were bleeding.

I’m not sure what you’re trying to do all I see is your junk in your not showing what did coach look like it’s more of what are you not showing it might be a nice looking holiday ramblerBut I cannot tell from the way you are filming you’re showing all of them do that but not the coach

I had an 1988 Holiday Rambler Limited. It has safe in front of passenger seat. You need to have the master switch on in the rear for the the coach and chassis battery isolator to work. The trans will not shift into gear to move until full air pressure. Plenty of love you need to do.
