This Video is about restoration of a Yamaha RX100 Motorcycle of the year 1991. Its almost 30 years old.
Restoration work took for about four months. All the spare parts and accessories which has been used is manufactured and sold by Yamaha Motor Company.
Maximum effort has been made to bring the motorcycle to its originality. The look of the motorcycle has been restored to its factory stock. Not only the spares but each and every screw, nuts and bolts have been worked upon.

Absolutely brilliant...reminds me of my childhood days! My father used to own an RX 100 with the same paint scheme. That sound of 2 stroke engine, pure bliss!!

Great work. Nice attention to detial. Color looks lovely. May I suggest please put those engine bore rubber and also for the engine case there is black circle around the Yamaha logo. Please do add it

A scrap motorcycle can be restored but a lapse in paper makes the Motorcycle only a showpiece. I wish you all the best for your restoration. If required any help do mail me. Papers if lapsed for less than 2 years is not a problem, more than 2 years amounts to huge penalty and interest which makes the project very costly. Do mail me, I will give you the exact location.

Great brother. Good job. I saw your Yamaha RX 100, I was thrilled by good efforts made by you to restore. Even I had a dream of getting Yamaha RX100, but by the time I was able to purchase, the production of RX 100 was stopped, so I had to get RX135. I was not at all happy with that bike, finally I sold that for a loss. I got inspired with your vehicle, I will definitely get an old one and restore the same way you have done.

অনেক স্মৃতি জুড়ে আছে এই মডেলটাতে, যখন ছোট ছিলাম আব্বুর RX এর আওয়াজ শুনলেই দৌড়ে বের হয়ে যেতাম, আব্বু সকালে বের হওয়ার সময় বাসা থেকে বাইক স্টার্ট না দিয়ে বের করে কিছুদূর রাস্তায় গিয়ে স্টার্ট দিতো, আব্বুর বাইকের আওয়াজ শুনলেই কান্নাকাটি করে দিতাম, এখনো মনে পড়ে দিনগুলো। ২০০৭ সাল পর্যন্ত আমাদের কাছে ছিলো ইয়ামাহা আরএক্স, ঐটা দিয়েই খুব অল্প বয়সেই ফার্স্ট বাইক চালানো শিখি। আজো এই বাইকের আওয়াজটা শুনলে হৃদয়ে টনক নাড়া দেয়, অনুভূতি গুলো ভাষায় বুঝাতে পারবো না। আমার লাইফে বেশ অনেক মডেলের দুই চাকা/চার চাকার গাড়ি চালিয়েছি, কিন্তু এই বাইকটার অনুভূতিটা কোন গাড়িতেই অনুভব হয়নি আমার। সময়ের সাথে সাথে পুরোনো জিনিসগুলো বিলুপ্ত হয়ে যাচ্ছে। খুব ইচ্ছে আছে, এমন একটা বাইক রিবিল্ড করে পুরনো স্মৃতিটা ধরে রাখার জন্য। খোঁজ করলে হয়তো পুরাতন আরএক্স কারো কাছে পাওয়া যাবে, কিন্তু বাংলাদেশে এই বাইকের পার্টস সব গুলো পাওয়া অসম্ভব হবে। 😢

Looks like new bike, I own a 1996 Yamaha RX 100 and sold it, as it drinks lots of gasoline, but it has very good riding comfort. End of the day it is 2 stroke engine, it would be good if we have 4 stroke engine (less carbon emissions).
