3rd game of the 92 season and this is a big upgrade from my previous attempt. Big game for 88.

first td by irvin was amazing. super football iq by novacek, with the instinct to turn and run up the field and block.

Randy Gregory put the same blind side hit on the Patriots QB just 2 weeks ago, he also fumbled and Dallas recovered!

Old NFC East rivalry game from September 20, 1992 between the Phoenix Cardinals and the eventual Super Bowl 27 champion Dallas Cowboys.

We need to see this again from Dallas cowboys defense and offense

I think there were a lot of better teams back then than there are today. And players were allowed to hit. Unlike today. The rules of today make it so teams might as well not even rush the QB for fear of getting called for roughing the passed. What a shame that the rules are taking away from the game.

Fun Fact: The DB getting burnt by Irvin all game (Lorenzo Lynch) is the uncle of RB Marshawn Lynch.

Hmm I bet Jimmy was not happy after this game. Way to many big plays given up. Also wow I didn't realize how vanilla the cowboys used to be. Hardly any motion on offense

Dallas didn't have a lot of offensive plays. They didn't have too. Everyone knew what they were going to do but could they stop them from doing it. The answer was no.

This is the first time I’ve watched this and thought, “Phoenix actually had a decent team”. Chandler made some great throws. Just not enough against this Cowboys team.

I’m watching this the day after SF beat Dallas AGAIN, for the 2nd year in a row in the Playoffs. Our Defense is legit; we need a bigger, nastier OL, an electric RB to pair with TP and another #1 WR (#1B WR) to pair with Cee Dee, who’s our #1A WR! The 1992 Arizona Cardinals bear a marked resemblance to the 2022 Dallas Cowboys. Really good team, average QB.

Oh what could have been if Jerry would’ve just put his ego aside, just signed the paychecks & let Jimmy run the football team…who knows how many more SB’s they could’ve won the rest of the 90’s & early 00’s!?!?!

Maybe 1 more. Back then the players aged too quickly. Teams got 3-4 years and fell off

I’d like to see how Aikman would do in today’s game with statistics. The boys ran the ball tons and Aikman rarely had to throw the football over 25-30 times a game, so statistically he was kinda shit
