ストーリー:

Like it's legendary prequel, 1989's "Golden Axe"; 'Revenge' is sideways scrolling beat-em-up set in a traditional fantasy world, in which the evil 'Death Adder' has arisen to take over the lands. The game supports simultaneous four-player gameplay, with each player taking on one of the game's characters. The four available characters are 'Sternblade' (a barbarian warrior), 'Dora' (a female centaurian), 'Goah' (a giant with a dwarf sitting atop his shoulders) and 'Little Trix' (an agile, oriental-style warrior).

I Always Play This Game and Choose Dora as My Character I remember spending a lot of coins to finish the game My mommy used to bring me to an arcade center at Masagana Pasay Mall in the early 2000's. i Love all Golden Axe Game from Sega Genesis 1,2 and 3 to ps2 and Bor Golden axe versions too. Dora is My Fave

I love how this game ripped sound samples straight from the movie First Blood. That Oh god scream when someone dies is David Caruso yelling when Rambo stabs him and Death Adders death scream at the end is when Gault falls from the helicopter after Rambo hits it with a rock.

A great sequel to Golden Axe. The Saturn could have handled it perfectly, I'm sure. Not porting it was a lame decision. I'd surely buy this if they brought it to PS4/X1.

@@wizzgamer Dunno. If they kept the size of those beautiful, big sprites the Sega Mega Drive would melt. They would have to change a lot and make a unfaithful bs port. I think this one was for the Saturn. How they manage not to port to home systems given how big this Arcade was, is beyond crazy.

I loved Golden Axe the original when I was a kid, I spent many quarters playing it (and eventually beating it in the arcade), I remember when this sequel was announced I was hopeful that it would be ported to the Sega Saturn, but all Saturn owners were treated to was a fighting game, meanwhile the Genesis would receive two sequels after the original (neither as good as the original, but welcomed editions). Return of Death Adder looks like the true natural progression from the first game, I got to play it once within the last 20 years. Here's hoping one day it will be ported over to a popular current console.....cough cough the Switch :-)

If you watch closely, her horse legs flash white before turning into human legs. Meaning, Dora wasn't a centaur her whole life and the horse half is a curse.

4:26 that is TMNTs Raphael scream from the original first film deepened, when Casey Jones escapes and Raph screams "DAAAAAMN" lol. The first Golden Axe had screams directly from the original Conan The Barbarian film, and that was cool. This sequel is as cool reusing some of those sounds but also from other iconic films. Love the first game and I love this one

Her character is just like all the modules that could connect to the Genesis (Mega Drive)... 'Oh look, a big ass praying mantis! No problem, I'll just slot myself onto it like it's the Sega CD... OK cool, now I'm riding around with my centaur mounted perfectly on top of the mantis. Next, I just found a catapult add-on thingy. Well, no probs, I'll just insert that to the back-end of my mantis, just the 32X could easily insert into the Genesis, so why not... Now look at me everyone! I might weigh six tonnes, but holy shit I pack some power!'

Incredible game. If they make a new 2d Golden Axe it has to at least look on par with this. None of that cell shaded nonsense they did previously with these Sega remakes.

The game looks really cool for 1992, that was definitely an automatic implementation. The Megadrive with Sega CD and maybe even 32 X would probably not get it so cool. Like the game there. I would hope that there is a game collection for my Switch, which contains the best games for Sega Megadrive, Sega CD and maybe a couple of titles for 32 times. But the gameplay looks really nice for a Golden Ax part.

ＭＤ版の２と３で・・・「嗚呼、、、オマエもシリーズ物の運命を辿るのか。。。」と残念に思ったもんですが、最終作で(対戦？)キメて来ましたね！！！今でも見かけたらプレイするくらい好きなゲームですね。ゲーム内容やボリュームもそうですが、グラフィックとサウンドが相当良くなってて戦斧の集大成のようでした。アーケードゲームでは、凄く良いゲームなのに未移植ってのは多いです。コレとかデコのエドワードランディとか。。。３ＤＳのセガ復刻シリーズにコレ入れて欲しかったなぁ・・・

Wait. When some bosses die, they scream ''DAAAAAAAAMN!!'', specifically the bald guy with the mace and Death Adder himself. Not only that, but that's the one scream from Raphael in the first TMNT movie, when he's chasing after Casey Jones. Then he runs away and Raph, frustrated, yells ''DAAAAAMN!''. It sounds just like that, only on a lower pitch.
