1992 Honda Accord Yonaka Catback Exhaust

Just got this new Yonaka Catback. Loving it so far, no drone whatsoever, not an annoying, raspy sound like you'd get from a fart can or a straight pipe. I also got rid of my cat a long time ago, might put it back on sometime to get a cat vs. no cat video.

i had a 91 2 door charcoal grey mica, it had a f22a1 non vtec, had a cam, jdm diameter 4-2-1 equal length header, mugenpower resonator in place of the cat with a yonaka 5 inch n1 cannon catback, it uh.. it had a Note~ to it to say the least it had that punch like the ooold volkswagen jettas with the 4 cylinders have. makes me smile to see people still really loving them they really are wonderful cars.

My first car in 2005 was a 1992 Honda Accord EX. Loved it, and i moved to Europe in 2016 otherwise i'd still have it.

I like the way these mufflers sound. I have a Yonaka cat back on my IS250. With the manual transmission I can play with the sound.

Same here. I got an Invidia N1 catback for my Civic and it's a little too loud and droney for me, the Yonaka is perfect.

Bought a clean ass civic with 140k miles from a highschooler for 2k a few months back. It had a few problems and I fixed all of them such as the speaker wiring, rear driver window motor, AC belt missing and the worst thing.. It has a full system cheap ebay/amazon catback and some aftermarket headers with NO cat. The muffler at the end of the car broke inside and started rattling so bad I took it off. I caved and bought a yonaka catback and it will be here this friday. This is probably what mine will sound like and I was hoping it wasnt too loud because before with the amazon exhuast it was stupid loud, like I hated it.. At least now I will have tint next week because I fixed that window that wouldnt roll up or down. Thanks for the video, Im hoping mine is just as quiet or more.

Damn bro I got a 96 accord ex 5 speed JDM f23a swap with a crappy DNA HEADER AND TEST PIPE,but I got a older style yanaka catback it’s super deep sounding

That sounds great! I'm shopping for an exhaust for my 1997 JDM Accord Wagon. Was leaning toward Spec D or just having one custom made but if Yonaka has one for mine I might go with that. I'm not a fan of raspy sounding tin can exhaust but this has that deeper tone I like. Might sound great paired with my H22.

Sweet, I just got this cat back a few months ago. Paired with obx-r high flow cat and DC 4-2-1 header. I love it. 👌

Sorry for the late reply, but NC doesn't do smog. Even better, my car doesn't have to be inspected anymore because it's 30+ years old and is considered an "antique" by the state's standards.

Tried to find this exhaust and out of stock everywhere. Tried to get a Megan Type 2... also out of stock. Everything made for the CB7 seems so hard to find anymore. I ended up finding a OBX catback that looks just like this, not sure if it's in stock or what. Hope it ships, if not I'm going to get a twin loop muffler and do a custom setup.

I've gotten a few messages about this, and it seems they must have quit making them. I heard they still make catbacks for the 94-97 Accord that will fit the CB7 with some work, but I haven't verified that. But yeah a custom setup doesn't sound too bad, that might be your best bet 👍

@@nchondakid I already ordered the OBX one, never got a tracking # so who knows if it's in stock. I also tried to get a Greddy Supreme muffler but the guy never shipped me it so I got refunded. Honestly think the twin loop will sound the best. Really like how the Yonaka sounds though, nice and throaty without that fart can rasp.

Tires are 215/50 and the wheels are 16x8 with -20 or something like that. Tires are wayyy to tall for this car to even get somewhat low with it though. I'd like a 205/40 or 45 more

It's a full Yonaka 2.5" Catback system, with no cat 👌🏼
