This video is a full restoration of my beloved 1992 Kawasaki ZXR400 L2.
This bike had a lot, and I mean a lot of money, blood, sweat and tears put into getting it how I wanted it. All the polishing, engine work (inc valve clearances), tuning and putting the bike together was all done by myself. The only thing I didn't do was the powder-coating. For good measure I took this bike to the dyno and she was pushing a healthy 63bhp at the wheel with no engine mods.

1 Thing that isn't shown in this video is the custom made electronic stick coils which I fitted shortly after the project.
Now for the sad news...
Bike was then sold on 13/02/2012 to who is now a very good friend of mine but unfortunately before he got the V5 through the door, the bike was stolen on 09/03/2012 a little over 3 weeks of ownership. After many many hours, weeks and months of searching, the new owner of the bike phoned me up a year later asking me to get to a PC asap and search for zxr400 on Ebay. I was shocked to see this exact bike on ebay for around £2000 over in Northern Ireland on a different registration plate and frame. Everything else was totally untouched.
I won't say too much but for now but all I can say is, the bike is in possession of the police and we are now just waiting for further information.
Restoration started on 15/10/2009 and was fully restored ready to ride on 17/09/2010
