The way he delt with "is wrestling fake" question so well. He bassicly answered it earlier where he admitted he was afraid of hurting the other guy. It's a performance, yes, but how well you do and perform DOES determine if you will be champ.

Wrestling and touring car fan here, so... This was recorded after Wembley Summerslam, which was August of that year. He lost to Ultimate Warrior by countout but kept his heavyweight title, which he didn't have when this was filmed (he dropped it to Ric Flair at some point). I'm surprised he didn't mention it like! Sarah Greene is seeing ex-BTCC driver Rob Gravett, who used to be teammates with Mike Smith back in the day when they raced RS500's

I remember quite a few wrestlers appeared on Going Live and later Live & Kicking - like The British Bulldog, The Rock and Big Show - but I missed this one with Randy Savage. I really enjoyed watching this. Ever the pro, Randy was great with the kids, handled the tough questions with a mature, professional attitude and also seemed to genuinely enjoy being on the Going Live set with Sarah and Gordon. One of the most colourful legends ever and all-time greats in the ring. The Macho Man is still beloved & missed to this day.

I'm also disappointed that there isn't more ghost train and top banana vids on KZfaq. I loved those shows too. Thankfully there is plenty of fun house episode's though. 👍

I watched WWF as a kid and never realized just what a great guy Randy was. I never realized he looked to give back in return, to inspire. I love how the hostess was in on the humor. The respect he gave those kids as equals. There is another feeat vid of him visiting a children's hospital. If you haven't seen it, you should look for it. There is a comment in the hospital vid of a guy who was one of the kids in the hospital expressing his gratitude and appreciation for Randy for that simple act of visiting when he was little. .
