Thanks for the video, helped to inspire me to keep working on my 93 Explorer, which has been in my family since new. I Already got a perfect air intake from the yard, once I redo the cooling system and power steering system and the fuel system, plus some of the stuff you did I should be able to get it back on the road after 2 years

Hello how are you, I have the same problem in my explorer unstable rpm below 700 but only cold after it stays on for 3 to 5 minutes the indicator light goes off and the branches go up to 1000 and it is stable, I consider it to be the EEC gets wet because it only happens in winter my country is very tropical I have had it for 5 years and in summer it does not happen only when I wash it in summer that happens, they consider that the EEC gets wet

My 92 Explorer is hard to start. It runs for about a minute and then dies. No check engine light. Very frustrating

So replaced fuel pump did not fix….and replacing the relays did not fix. In the end I had to go to the junk yard and steal a New Computer Module(EEC). Poped it in and it she fired right up. The EEC is prone to moisture damage and can short out the fuel system; as was the case with mine.
