I’m so, SO glad that I bought my original paint white/titanium/blue stripe ‘87 GT when I did almost 9 years ago. The same car today would be out of reach on my budget and I think you are absolutely correct that they are the next model to climb rapidly in price like the Notchbacks have. There are a lot of people getting into their 40’s now (like me) who are feeling nostalgic and want that Mustang they let get away after high school or always wanted but never had. Back in the mid-90’s when I was in high school a GT hatch was IT.

I totally agree with you about the automatic vs stick. I’m 54 and just got back into the 5.0 game. Long story short I found a one owner 80,000 km red 87 notch while doing an electrical job. I made a random offer and it’s now in my garage. It’s automatic and I’m actually glad. I live in niagara and and look forward to hitting hutches at the beach with my nephews and driving around with a chocolate shake or coffee and not having to shift at all the millions of lights and stop signs. I’m not into modifications and love 100% stock. I think it will continue that way as owners get older. ( sorry that was long)! Lol

Found a 93 reef gt last year. Guy parked it in front of his buddy's shop with a for sale sign. Mine needs help, basically a full resto now. Was going to change the color but decided a month back I can't bring myself to do it. Car will look very different after it's done though

Mr. Infamous all your cars look nice. One thing I can your style I like. Here is why you build cars with or without power but with a gentleman's flare. Your style puts the Fox body dare I say it somewhere in there with the European cars somewhere in that styling. Ok i get it the Fox is not going to corner like a 911 or M3 but it would give them a run for their money when built right. Also I would like to add that all these channels I watch I listen to everyone give their opinion but the one thing no body ever talks about or give credit to is Sir Jackie Steward. Why? Because Sir Jackie was the guy that sorted out the 93 Fox giving Ford the input it need to smooth out and refine the Fox body Mustang which led to the Cobra being what it is today. Great content on your shows.

Just picked up an 86 GT Vert.

I have a really nice 93 gt . It is not a matching car. Had rust in pillars so a donor was used and welded in. Doors were creased and I didn't want mud on the car . It's a stroker car . Never ever raced . Complete car and everything pretty much has been replaced . It is a black and gray interior to match a kick ass paint job . Seriously done by a phenom painter who has been in mags. You can ck the car out on my chanel but it no longer is a turbo car

Well I know you can get about 2 to 3 nice foxes for the price of a cobra. Anyway I am always going to be looking for a nice black GT convertible or hatch 87 to 93. But I know I’ll probably never find one at this point. So right now I’m considering putting a motor in my 1990 red Vert. I just hope a black one doesn’t come available after I spend all this money on this car. Anyway nice story. And by the way did I see you set an open can of beer on an open convertible? Lol! Do you know if there is some kind of repair kit for the front end..I've been looking for even a tube front end with strut towers built in...I have only saw 1 for sn95..waiting for guy to message back to see if he knows if there is 1 for the foxbody.i missed out on a nice coupe .because passenger side frame and strut tower was toast.
