One of my all time favorite Mustangs. Yours is THE color for a '93 SVT. Lol. Very fine. Thanks for sharing. Most today do not appreciate that it's not just about hp and numbers. It's about the total package, the complete experience. The 1993 Cobra delivers on that very well. The '93 Camaro's and Firebirds weren't all they were hyped to be. A little more hp, from an engine 48 cubic inches larger! Hoh hum.... Make mine Mustang!

Speaking of one off vehicles, in 96 Ford did produce a dozen or so 5.0 GT cars that were released in the Detroit area. I got to drive one many years ago, and the owner showed me dynojet sheets of it with 225-230 at the wheels, and more wheel torque than the crank rating. That underrating trait was something that the Cobra R and the Terminator shared lol Also, sorry I keep commenting your vids. Good content. Can't help it lol

Yup! But I’ve experienced them and turbo coupes. Really wasn’t a fan. The motors seemed to have limitations early too.
@jasonmitchell76773 жыл бұрын
@@theminuteman2251 no doubt, those cars were slow. But growing up poor and driving the SVO at 15 years old was cool. Turbo spool, 4 wheel disc, hand pumped seat bolsters, etc. I've got a ton of cool stuff now but try to find a clean SVO. They dont exist where I'm at. Let me know if you find one.
@mustangmike40783 жыл бұрын
I have an 86 svo and it's pretty quick actually. With a k&n, better flowing exhaust, and the boost jacked up they can get down pretty good. Definitely faster than my 90GT when it was stock. You're not setting the world on fire but they're definitely quick. The braking and handling is where it's at with those cars. I miss that V8 rumble though, its pretty unimpressive when you rev up. I'd like to sell mine and focus on the GT.

@@mustangmike4078 Let me know if you wanna sell it. That's a cool summary of the SVO.
@mustangmike40783 жыл бұрын
@@jasonmitchell7677 I don't think I'm quite ready to come off it just yet. I have to assume they're only gonna go up in value and if I were to sell it now there's a good possibility I'd end up kicking myself in the ass down the road when it becomes even more valuable. I've had it since 97 and I was 18 years old so I figure if I've held onto it this long I may as well keep it a little longer and maybe it will really be worth something. But I do definitely want to sell it at some point. It's a project though. Anything that can ware out is wore out. The car had a hard life and then I bought it fixed it up and then beat the hell out of it myself. The hatch has some rust but the body is pretty clean. It's gonna take some work but somebody would like to restore it I'm sure. It's just chilling in my garage in the mean time.

I have to agree with you there, that is the nicest of the three. I have two Mystics, one that I just purchased five years after finding her. Mine are nowhere the quality of yours, but still have 50k miles. The newest one sat outside in Georgia for over 10 years in the rain; no rust or body damage but the clear has worn off. I love how it looks regardless and still get compliments. It was a sentimental purchase and the paint means a lot to me as it is and my question to you is do you know anyway to make the paint shine with no clearcoat? It still has a lot of original paint and if I could make it shine, I'd keep it that way. Sorry for the long post but thanks for the response.
@ShelbyFlyer3 жыл бұрын
You could always try correcting it with a buffer and polishing compounds. It’s also possible to lightly wet sand it with something like 3,000 grit and then have it recleared, but it’s probably best to just have the whole thing repainted if you are going that route.
