This OPR Replacement Front Inner Tie Rod End is a direct fit replacement for the factory inner tie rod ends on all 1994-2004 Mustang models, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and SVT Cobra. Shakyor loose steering can be the direct result of a failing tie rod end. This OPR Tie Rod End is a budget-friendly solution that will remove any inner tie rod related vibration in the steering as well as improve ride quality. Sold individually, this Front Inner Tie Rod End is interchangeable and can be used for both the driver and passenger side front wheels.
Superior Strength and Durability. The OPR Tie Rod housings are forged and heat-treated for high-strength durability. The bearing features a grooved surface, which enables grease to flow through the bearing to the stud for a smooth durable surface and a lengthy service life. This replacement Tie Rod End does not include an outer tie rod end.
Straightforward Installation. The installation of the replacement OPR Replacement Front Inner Tie Rod End can be completed with basic hand tools within approximately three hours. Depending on access to the steering rack, you may need a specialty inner tie rod removal tool which can usually be rented from a local auto parts store. It is recommended that both tie rods are replaced at the same time with new outer tie rods and steering bellows. Once the installation is complete, seek a wheel alignment.
