Hello everyone,
In this episode we meet Rob and his pristine Acura Legend. This goes to show you how less is more now at days. Rob has done a wonderful job at mixing in some JDM parts but keeping the car looking as OEM as possible. Rob first fell in love with this chassis when he was in high school. Fast forward a few years later he continues to build a car that is not the most popular. Maybe it never followed popularity do to the fact that is a luxury sedan. Well, we are glad that Rob has taken the time to modify and continue to preserve this Legend as flawless as possible. Thank you for your time and I hope you all enjoy it! #automotiveanatomy

Yessir my dude you gots to know it and Hondas were everywhere to alongside these Acuras i had a buddy while i was at Ft.Lee back in the end 90's he had an Emerald green Acura 4 dr. sedan with tint..(that's all it needed) and i had an 1991.5 Honda Accord EX 5% limo layered with bronze tinted out, chrome out (body fenders, trunk) car was midnight black w/semi metallic flakes and clear coat and naturally dropped (squatted ass end) awwww man i miss it terribly now i had that RF's (Punch 45) amp matted to a Kenwood cd plyr./Pioneer 12 band graphic eq pushing them 12" kickers and with the music that we had out back then you already kno! ...talkin nuthin nut party central, my homie would park his Acura next to my Honda and we would just admire the cars for what they were and people would come by wanting to ride out whenever we did.

I'm one of those freaks who prefers to keep my cars all-original (not to mention I'm old). Nevertheless, I find this Legend to be gorgeous even if it's not exactly done to my taste. It appears as if Rob had a very clear image of how he wanted this car to end up before he ever touched a thing on it. Builds that evolve in a haphazard fashion generally look it, and don't tend to wind up anywhere near this nice. Great attention to detail on the part of the owner, who had enough sense to not take things so far that it overwhelms all of the hard work he put into this car. That's impressive.

Over here on the east coast , the legend is legendary. I always wanted one. I just turned 32 on the 3rd...and I found one a week before my birthday. Up in Boston. It was a 1992 coupe. The interior is about a 9 the exterior is a 8, with 116768 miles on it,I got it for 400 dollars. I drove it almost 3 hours back home no issues...so I'm working on bringing it back and putting my own touch on it

Wow! That’s an amazing gem he’s got! I’d really love to own a GS 6-speed down the road or a JDM Honda Alpha Touring Legend. For the GS I’d definitely take a different approach and do full restoration if needed, no modifications. The value of those will increase. So with my base model L I wanted a clean canvas to work with but I also don’t feel too bad cutting into it and creating my own version. The quest continues to find more parts and being able to reach out to enthusiasts around the world with internet is a great thing. Back in the day it was so hard. Appreciate the positive vibes, man! Finally have some time to catch up with the latest vids and man they are still awesome to watch! I wanted to have a Acura Legend when I was in high school because it’s such a cool and luxury vehicle and it’s a Honda, it’s pretty pricey back in the days so I couldn’t afford it. I remember the engine of these cars are mounted like rear wheels drive cars so I used to think they can drift, but they are fwd. I still love these cars now and appreciate it when I see one on the road, thanks for the Interview Gus!

I have a 96 rl with a C35a1 and a 6 speed from a legend, custom intake and the type 2 Camshafts and I have made it twinturbo it is pushing a good 900 hp and 850 tq I reupholstered the interior with dark gray and dark red and a full custom interior with heated and cooled seats all around and custom suspension setup it is a static system with air lift on demand and it had a big brake kit from power stop all around, stage 4 clutch with custom lightweight flywheel upgrade differential and axle shafts the engen has ben upgraded with custom pistons rods heads valves and much more I also had some custom MLS hedgaskits made I put head studs in it the exoust is a mix of 3"varex variable Mufflers with 3" exoust tubing an expansion box it has 1 high flow catalytic converter and it is a hybrid with a eletric moter coupled with a s2000 differential custom drive shafts for the rear and a 48v power Distribution system it is also used for all the power in the car it has a ac system in the intake manifold sepret from the cars ac system the seats use the ac from the car to cool them same with heat with individual cut off systems for heat and cooling this car is a ongoing project so far it has cost me 600,000 to buld and I almost forgot it has a full roll cage inside the body of the car and behind the bumpers inside the doors the glass is thicker and not glass it is a custom polymer that is bullet resistant up to a 45 caliber the tint all around is a varible tint and I have installed special headlights that move with the road through sonar and it also has 3 different radar systems inside the car the first one is escorts 360 then a R40 and the other one is a custom one I am working on and it has laser jammers from police laser guns the pant is original with a very small amount gold flake and red flake the wheels are some enkei rims I found 5 spoke gun metal looks amazing I can go on and on I do all the work myself and will not trust anybody to work on it or drive it becous it dos have 900 hp and it kicks in only at 3600 rpm's if you are not expecting it you will wreck it and the electric moter launches you from 0 to 60 in just 4 or 5 seconds it is scary to drive especially when the rear kicks out and the engine has to catch up I have the redline at 9000 rpm so it is a screamer how that works is I completely re engineered the rotating assembly with roller rokers and extremely strong springs and a timing chain instead of a belt with it's own oiling system with gear oil instead of engine oil and it's own cooling system that goes to the intake to be coold through the ac system in the intake next to the differential cooling lines and the manual transmission cooling lines my project car has so much going on I can go on and on to the smallest detail I think it is probably the fastest sleeper RL's in the world the top speed with the wheals off of the ground is 270 mpg I haven't gone past 201 it is terrifying in a sedan not built for that speed of course I was on a track ;) ;)

Hella clean, I don’t think anymore needs to be done, maybe just the stereo head unit, but I’d relocate to keep it looking stock.
