My dad had a 93 V6 model just after I graduated high school, I got to drive it a few times. It was a nice car. It had a peppy V6 in it.

As a 12 year old in 1994 (last year of production) I fell in love with this car. My parents were car shopping at the time, and I insisted so much on this one being a great deal, that they bought it. It was a super reliable car until it was traded in 2001, and I still love it!!

Ford really spec'd these quite oddly back in the day. GL (which is a higher trim level) No RPM gauge, manual windows, but it has a CD player. Would love to have this car though.

Wow what time warp! I had 1989 2.3L 5-Speed 2 door light blue with blue interior back in 1997 when I first got my drivers license. Seeing as I was in high school at the time that car could fit 7-8 people if people sat on laps in both the front (passenger side of course) and back. Plus it was amazing on gas! When the Low Fuel light came on I could still go 60-80 miles easily. I managed to drive it right up until July 2003 when the rear strut tower rusted out but aside from that just oil changes, spark plugs, cap and rotor, belts once, and brakes were the only things I had to do to it. I had 1992 GLS V6 5 speed manual. For this era its powerfull. 200 kmh...yes its possible.

I learned to drive in a 1994 Tempo very similar to this one except it was an automatic, four cylinder, different wheels and a blue interior. I have had two Tempos since then, a '94 2 door and a 1987 4 door. This definitely was a throwback for me too, would not mind owning another. Thank you for sharing!

My dad owned a 1992 Mercury Topaz GS 4dr with a V6. He kept it till 2001 when he bought a 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis GS. He liked to Topaz better than the Grand Marquis. His topaz was very reliable and a great road trip vehicle. This Tempo looks like a brand new vehicle. What an awesome time capsule!

The Tempo with the V6 and 5 speed manual is a perfect fun combination !

I've had three of these and there were far better than remembered. My favorite one was the 1992 GLS with V6 that Road and Track called "Lil SHO"

Makes me miss my 1992 LX V-6 badly. The LX had lots of nice little things over the GL, such as cloth door panels, nicer upholstery, thicker carpet, upgraded gauges with tachometer standard, etc. God i miss that car!

I have a 93 Mercury Topaz! He's bright red and still with white wall wheels! Not as clean as this one here with bits if sun damage, nd a small broken front left bumper piece; works like a charm A

I have a 1994 that was my great grandmas, still working on fixing it up all the way but have a taurus SHO for so it should be fun in the end!
