Sushmita has no Uteras, no falopian tube, no ovary. Sushmita had never menstruated. Sushmita has some "Male" symptom.Sushmita probably a Male Pseudo-Hermaphrodite due to Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome(CAIS). A case similar to Eden Atwood (singer) and Jena Pincot (Model), Shanthi Soundarajan (Sprinter).

Also not to forget Manpreet Brar from India who deserved to win in 1995 but could not win due to MU POLITICS as they did not want India to win back to back! Adline Castelino also made us proud! its just a 'consolation' slot reserved for the host country.. so far Puerto Rico (MU2001) and USA (MU2012) are the only countries who won MU while hosting the pageant in their own home turf.

I always walk by this same old building (the PICC) where the MU is held in Manila... It is also near the Folk Arts Theatre, the first to hold the Miss Universe in the Philippines.

I remember Miss Venezuela mentioned Madam Auring on her post in Instagram😂😂😂. I love this edition of Miss Universe in the Philippines because it shows the culture and some places of the country. Btw the host delegate Charlene Gonzales became a TV personality after Miss Universe and her reign as Miss Philippines.

Nostalgic. I just graduated HS at this time. I love how diverse the semi-finalists are, how genuinely happy they all look. There’s something about the pageants in the 90’s i think girls are much more closer and friendly

Heavy favourites among the public and the press were: Belgium, Venezuela, Colombia , Philippines , Thailand, Mexico, Australia, Aruba, and USA. Among the delegates who were at the close “radar” were: Slovak Republic , Russia, Namibia, Israel, Italy and Zimbabwe. These were the most talked about delegates in the papers and tele during that time. (I just graduated from my Nursing course that time) So during the announcement of the 10 semi finalists , it was a shock for the audience when countries like India, Greece , Switzerland and Sweden were called as they were totally unnoticed during the whole month of pageant activities in Manila.

Well i still do remember this day that was the year 1997-98 and on DD 1 i.e. Doordarshan there used to be show with the Miss Universe or Miss World episodes and it had an awesome , unforgettable , title opening & i am still in search of that theme man...The title had a female voice with a soothing & mesmerizing music.
