Pretty much my first car, I had a 1991 which still had the old steering wheel. Lovely things to drive, if only they rotted less.

Beautiful car! We have a '94 Corsa B in my family which I love driving, but I think '80s Opels, like the Corsa A and the Kadett E, are a lot more iconic. I might get a Kadett E as a project car / weekend toy someday.

The father's friend had Opel Kadett E Caravan 1.6 or 1.7 L diesel, a nice car but not resistant to corrosion

@@majkel277 przecież to europejski kadett czyli koniec w 91, chyba że to import z Brazylii czyli Chevrolet Kadett albo może Daewoo Racer lub Pontiac LeMans, ewentualnie jest to kanadyjski Passport Optima.. 🙂

@@nataliasekula8522 Obstawiam, że to składak i ma w dowodzie rejestracyjnym wpisany rok zarejestrowania w Polsce, jako rok produkcji - stąd błąd autora filmu lub właściciela. Miałem dokładnie taką sytuację ze swoim autem.

Dynamikę ma nielepszą od "malucha". Z czego to wynika? Z wieku, jakichś przypadłości tego konkretnego egzemplarza? A może to jest jakaś wersja ekonomiczna (z dłuższymi przełożeniami albo czymś w tym stylu)?

Nice to see another Kadett. But it has to get lot of love put into it, so it can shine in its former glory. Also the Carburetor or ignition timing is way off dur to the lack of performance. I have a 1990 1.4i 60HP and it does 0-100 in ~13 sec.

the kadett e was from 1984 to. Produced in 1993. replaced by the astra f from 1992 only the kadett convertible was produced and sold until 1993. you have a late 91 e kadett no 1994

Wow, rare one. I haven't seen one of those in 10-15 years in the, Netherlands. They are all rusted away en failed a lot of MOT due rusted thresholds, but you saw them everywhere in the past and not worth restore the rust.

This is not entirely true. There are several cars in which Joe does reach 100 km/h around the time determined by the manufacturer. Also, you can't get used to every single car to the same extent within the short period of time Joe usually has. Plus, you don't want to push other people's pre-owned (often downright old) cars too hard -- you don't know what condition the timing (belt) is in, etc.
