Miami in 2001 might have had more household names that made the NFL. However the 1995 Nebraska team is the best college football team I've seen in my lifetime.

All he had to do was beat a FL team that didn't show up. You know, like #1 Neb didn't 2 games into the new season. #17 ASU 19, #1 Neb 00000000.

@@davidrajaruzicka5546 the silliness of 95 just never stops. Prior to 95, Mason (KS coach) beat 1 ranked team in his previous 101 games, but LOL, he finished in the top 10 in 95. That one team (BYU) finished unranked. What a fing joke the 95 season was. He finished 4-7 in 96, so 95 wasn't a coming out party.

@@dustinschweser1204 Agreed. I've been watching CFB for 30+ years now, and I have to say the 95 Huskers are probably tied for "best team ever" with the 2001 Hurricanes. There are some other fantastic teams I'd throw in the mix, like 2004 USC, 2005 Texas, and 2018 Clemson -- but the 95 Huskers just steamrolled almost everyone they played, including the No.2 Gators in the championship.
