In this video we will be removing the headliner and recovering it with new fabric to restore it's cosmetic appearance. After many decades, the original fabric and foam backing will deteriorate and separate from the headliner fiberboard creating an unsightly appearance.
The truck illustrated is a 1998 Chevrolet Cheyenne K2500, but the procedure will be the same for any 1995 thru 2002 OBS truck with a standard / regular cab size headliner. Chevrolet, GMC, and Holden for Cheyenne, Silverado, Sierra, and W/T trucks across C1500, K1500, C2500, and K2500 ratings. The 3500HD for models years 2001 and 2002 would also be applicable for this repair video.
