The final win of 1995 for the Seattle Mariners came in an 11-inning thriller over the Cleveland Indians in Game Three of the 1995 ALCS.
Jay Buhner reminded pitchers everywhere that he's not someone you wanna run into in a dark alley, much less in the batters box, as he went deep twice, driving in four of Seattle's five runs.
How many of you remember that the Mariners led this series at one point?

If only there was more where this came from :) How is this the only 1995 ALCS game online??? Crazy.

This game is why Frank Constanta was yelling at Steinbrenner on that episode of Seinfeld.

Bob Costas just loves to listen to himself talk. I could do without him.

Thank you! First time seeing this. They did regional broadcasts that year. The Mariners swept three from the Yanks and in return get swept their final three games.

9:40 one of the best power hitters of the 90's does something you almost NEVER see in the game today - the part of baseball I miss most.

@@quarantinedclassics9047 shorten the swing instead of striking out. I feel like you can watch an entire game and not see it. Thanks for the videos!

@@bryanclark7608 lol, that wasn’t a short swing. He put the bat on the ball and didn’t overswing.

@@jonmolina948 I think you're saying exactly what I'm saying. Shorten Swing, don't overswing, I don't see a big difference. I mean, I think you're technically correct but I think you also could have seen my point and let me move along without intervention. Glad you had a laugh, and thanks for taking the time.

Thanks for this game. By any chance, do you have the 1995 ALDS Game 2 (BOS-CLE) in full? The copy I have doesn't have the bottom of the 1st inning. Otherwise, thanks for these uploads so far.

The ump in this game is terrible, pitches a foot outside he calls strikes, then pitches that are strikes he calls balls

I've heard baseball games from the 70s with better audio quality than this.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to bitch about the audio quality of a game that is otherwise unavailable on the internet. Comments like this really make me want to upload even more content! Just knowing there are people like you out there; people that will find something to piss and moan about, no matter what it is they're given (for free, no less), gives me the strength to get out of bed every day. I have no doubt that everything you own is in pristine condition (especially nearly 30 year old video tapes you recorded as a child) and that, had you been responsible for recording every game that I have in my archives, this channel would feature nothing but Master Tape quality footage. Maybe next time ...

@@quarantinedclassics9047 believe it or not I didnt intend to seem ungrateful, just that the audio quality isn't on par with the video quality. It was merely an observation and if I offended you then I'm sorry.
