Alec Baldwin playing Trump is hilarious though. The move would have been for Trump to join him on SNL for a skit to show it doesn't bother him. Yeah I saw some mean looking grannies waving their little American flags around, rough stuff. All after being let and told they could be in there? I can see why AOC was scared for her life across the street and in a totally different building. I wonder what it would like if leftists did the same, maybe 9 months of riots and burning federal buildings. Attacking the capitol, jeez that's crazy, we should ask Susan Rosenberg her thoughts on that matter.

@@wickedbabayaga No, I mean where people were trampled to death while attacking the police guarding the building. I mean where more than 400 people have been arrested for various crimes, including violent crimes, while attacking the capitol. I mean where they were chanting "Hang Mike Pence" one minute after Trump tweeted about it. I mean where Capitol Police were desperately radioing for backup and pleading with the Military to send in the National Guard. I mean where people tried to gouge the eyes out of police, beat them with hockey sticks wrapped in the American flag, and placed bombs and weapons in vehicles around the perimeter. I mean where the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys had been in communication with the White House and White House advisors in advance. You should maybe try reading any of the few hundred charging documents for people arrested at this event. I'm sure they brought flex-cuffs in order to lock up their bikes, right? @@Will-xk4nm All of those people are being railroaded for non-violent crimes. Even snopes which is far-left propaganda says besides Ashley Babbitt the others died of natural causes from being fatties. On the other hand, far more people were VIOLENTLY murdered during the BLM riots that raged across the country for months. BLM and antifa agitators also were caught changing into pro-trump gear and inciting violence at the capitol. The far-left terrorist group that actually BOMBED the capitol in the 1980s had their sentences commuted by Clinton, and sit on the board of BLM LOLOLOLOL. You keep saying "stopping the peaceful transitiion of power" because you are a propagandist not arguing in good faith, you know damn good and well it was about stopping a rigged election.

Not as an end in itself ---- but for the purpose of influencing/meddling with the outcome of an election. How I miss the days when entertainment was for the sole purpose of entertainment (and nothing more). Nowadays, I'm pretty cynical, pessimistic and overtly suspicious (the present state of the world has a tendency to develop such outcomes). But, against all odds, I hope for a day when the world (entertainment and otherwise) returns to a time like what we saw in this video. I was 11 or 12 at the time this video was first seen. I'm here to tell you that it was a simpler, much more joyous time. How I long for those days. Ahhh, the good ole days, right? If I'd have known that they were the good ole days--- I would've cherished them much more. But, alas: they're gone. Long gone. So often we flippantly disregard the moment (to hurry on through to the future). Then, when we get to the future, we fondly look back at the past, thus longing for what we couldn't wait... to get past! We're such a dichotomied contradiction of ourselves. God help this world. God help us all.

Bush did the same thing with Dana Carvey, inviting him to the White House and other functions. Back then SNL and Late Night TV were careful to appeal to the entire country and not insult anyone's point-of-view. Now the late night shows have made a conscious decision to try to appeal to bitter Democrats who just want to see their opposition insulted, because the shows are no longer funny enough to attract an audience based on good comedy.
