It's crazy you see these commercials a million times as a kid and you forget them for years. Flash forward 15 years and it's like you never stopped watching them.

Wow Ameritech was way ahead of its time. The tech on that commercial was insanely accurate of today's tech.

man, i used to watch the History channel with my grandpa all the time. Good memories, shame what's it's become.. But at least there's youtube where i'll be doing the same thing with my grandkids God willing!

This is the last year where you can still(maybe a little) taste that 90-92 strong 80s hangover.

This was 26 years ago for me. I still remember going with my best friend to see Tommy Boy. Man does it bring back memories and those were the best years of my life and I miss it so. So much has changed and I wish I could get them back.

When I was a paperboy, i took out all of the mcdonalds inserts before delivering the Sunday papers. My friend and I ate like kings after that.

Ameritech predicted the future with these gadgets but didn't predict how they themselves get gobbled up by SBC/ATT just a few years after this commercial.
