@@courtlandcarr7457 just like they did between Shawn Johnson and Nastia Luiken too! Like them, they're completely different gymnastics types! One is powerful and strong and dynamic, the other is graceful and fluid. But that doesn't mean that one or the other isn't graceful or powerful, just that they have different styles. Shannon and Dawes were both graceful yet powerful both in my opinion though. I know this is controversial but I wasn't a big fan of Nastia. I kinda felt like she was over hyped a bit. She had good bars but I feel like if her last name wasn't Luiken, she wouldn't have had so much attention. And Shawn Johnson always always always never stuck her landings and did these .3 deduction steps because she didn't make them small, and that showed her power on the mat but she seemed like she was having more fun and was more likeable socially. But that's just my opinion. They're both amazing. They're all amazing. But I have my favorites and I've pretty much stuck with them as favorites lol. Amanda Borden, Dawes, Maggie Nichols, Alicia Sacramone, Kaitlyn Ohashi, and the great Svetlana Boginskaya lol 😆 all of the magnificent seven are amazing, and Mohini Bhardwaj is AMAZING, and I liked Vanessa Atler but I wanted Mohini to win competitions and she was never scored that high when her technique and skills were damn near perfect. I'm going on and on, I'm sorry 😂😅 I've been binging every year since 1990 all the way up to 2016 now, and I'm still going lol. Been watching all the competitions for each year in a row lol. So it's all still fresh in my head
