How long have you run this? At first TC will have the same stiff steering. Any brand for that matter. I have over a year on these and have never had issues. Your alignment issues can mostly be attributed to steering rack, lower ball joints, and lower control arm bushings. Replace that and you will be amazed.

When I had the stock arms on steering was perfect. It all changed after these arms were installed. Had them on for 4 months now.

That is because when you have all of the old parts together it is easier to manipulate the steering as opposed to when you have a fresh part, the problems are further exacerbated.

Vito, did you resolve the steering issue? I have a similar issue going on but I have stock uca's.

Your locking of the wheel when its turned deep problems are inside the cab with the steering shaft u joints that are between the steering wheel and go all the way down to and thru the firewall. Clean them up with some brake cleaner and lube them afterwards with a QUALITY lubrication... like brand name silicone in an aerosol can. Something that doesn't attract dust and all the other SHIT that causes it to lock up on you like it is doing now. I PROMISE YOU SIR....THAT IS THE CAUSE OF YOUR WHEELS LOCKING IN A TIGHT TURN... trust me and everyone go clean your interior steering shaft and re-lube it up... GOOD AS NEW RIGHT...??? WELL THEN, GREAT & I TOLD YA SO!!!

Arms have held up quite well, my best advice is to buy the aftermarket slug adapters and thru bolt/nut from another manufacturer. Besides that they've held up well, corrected my alignment and much smoother articulation.

I haven't used any sort of 'retrofit kit' to install this. This was the latest version of the UCA, and it seems to work quite well. I am happy with them. What is your application and version type?

I'm not sure the version type. Mines the 1996-2002 toyota 4runner. It uses 2 bolts, one on top and on from the bottom. The 1 piece slug "ripped apart" in an area where the 2 bolts did not meet. Basically a hollow portion of the threaded slug. I can't even find replacement uniballs or Misalignment spacers to substitute. A retrofit sounded nice though

The uniball isn't a 1"? If it is you can simply buy a replacement uniball from Total Chaos or FK. Misalignment spacers and slug adapters can be purchased through all pro Offroad.

The uniball is slightly over 1", a uniball from total chaos slides right through. And a 1.25 from. Camburg didn't fit. Since this is a wear item, I decided to just go with total chaos uca as a replacement for sake of finding parts (ordered yesterday)

Tyrel Thibault The arms are holding up great. Some gents did a review over on the Fj side of things with these same arms and they were jumping their rig. Right now I'm swapping to external resi coilovers and limiting straps but the arms are gold!

I have run the ebay arms up until now with no problems at all. Squeaking that's about it.... Best option is to buy name brand. Next, if you don't have the $$$ buy these and make the necessary changes. My opinion, but I wont be t fault for your outcome if it is not what you expected. Personally, I have had a good outcome.

Sebasitan Munoz what after market slug adapter do u preferring too?

AllPro slug adapter or TC/Camburg depending on what fits. My research has yielded that for these, AP is the way to go.
