Yeah I've owned 3 town cars in the past and I got one in the garage...I agree keeping it original works better for that type of vehicle far as the engine/air flow

It’s not a good idea, To be honest, putting a Chevrolet engine on one of its main competitors seems, wrong. I think a 5.2 litre Voodoo is better for this
