1996 Mercedes Benz E320 W210 No Start Issue

1996 Mercedes Benz E320 W210 chassis No Start issue. The car sat for over a year and a half roughly and would not start. We finally got it running and then all of a sudden it just died out again. We had flushed the fuel system, we had changed out the fuel filter. We were troubleshooting everything, but we could not find the fuel pump relay. So here's a short vid on how we managed to check to see if it was actually the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay, and where to find it.

I have the same proplem my friend car didn't start because there's no electric in fuel pump

lucky kid and hes excited to work on it, the wombo combo. i got the same prob that is nagging me with my 97, thanks for this info...i have a question though. around the time you guys installed the fuel pump but not yet changed the big breaker/fuse thing did it perform kind of sluggish? i put in a new fuel pump which helped but most times i have to start it around the second time and it doesnt perform its best

Sorry, just saw your post. It ran great. No sluggishness. It just stopped dead in the road. After we got it running again, it ran great too.

How do I check the starter with a wire using the k40 relay. What contact points do I use my jump wire on to check starter. I suspected a bad relay so I ordered a new one but just in case I haven't been able to check the starter yet

I am experiencing something similar after removing and replacing a fuel line. I came upon this video that explains how to address problems with the K40 module by resoldering three connections. Hope it helps. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/js1npq92tLvIm6M.html
