Action from the final day of Britain's biggest rally, held in 1996 outside of its normal position as the closing round of the World Rally Championship. This programme follows the weary crews through to the finish, as well as giving a recap on the previous two days of competition.
Produced by BBC Top Gear Rally Report and presented by John Leslie, with commentary by Simon Taylor and additional reporting by Mark James, Tony Mason, Bob Constandurous and Ivan Gaskell.

Many thanks for posting these videos . I was employed by Michelin at the time of this event and with 3 others guys from Michelins UK factories , we were chosen to join the Michein media team ,and cover the event around the country, then send reports back to our respective factories to keep the workforce up-to-date with whats happening with th Michelin shod teams. We covered over 1500 miles over 5 days visiting M-Sport in Cumbria, before the event, and attending the Rally show in Chester the day before. This videos have brought wonderful memories back to me ,and hopefully to the lads i spent a short but fun and eye opening experience. Thanks

I remember driving down to Hafren on the Sunday evening; cars came through at 5:58 in the morning......had lunch in Dolgellau, then onto Clocaenog East for the final stage......

Yes, it was on the channel but appears to have been blocked in around 80% of countries because of one minute of music from Robert Miles. I will do a hasty YT edit and remove the music or the segment concerned so it should be back up in the coming days.
