9:45 and 12:59 If people ever want to know what football was like in the 60s and 70s we had a device called 'radio' and it was much like this. No picture, just audio.

Wisconsin had the most success in the Big Ten in the 90s in the Rose 🌹. Good the Buckeyes got some wins against them even if it wasn't during Badgers Rose Bowl years.

Wisconsin fought extremely hard.

Found out on the PSU-OSU video that Wisconsin had a bye week before this game. Also, that fumble return for a touchdown.....might have been the shortest time ever for a pass to be called a completion. Hard to tell on some of these videos. Thank goodness for high def.
@loufancelli13303 жыл бұрын
Yeah that wasn't even close to a completion. Replay would certainly overturn that today.

OSU managed to avoid northwestern in 95 and 96?
@ajk41934 жыл бұрын
Right. The way the Big Ten schedules worked at the time with 11 schools and eight league games, Ohio State didn't play Northwestern or Michigan State in '95 and '96. They would then miss Purdue and Wisconsin for '97 and '98.
@nospam33273 жыл бұрын
Haha, I think that went the other way my friend. Ohio State would have killed Northwestern in either of those years. OSU is 30-1 vs Northwestern since 1972.

Really! Avoid Northwestern! Wow! What a powerhouse they were, and are now! Come on man! I can’t stop laughing! 🌰🏈

@@nospam3327 I know! Just got through texting that guy who said that Ohio state avoided playing Northwestern in 95, and 96! I’m still laughing at that one! He must be smoking something really strong!

@@charleslowe2095 OSU’s coaching is what will hold them back. Not “speed”. You saw Zeke break on them vs Alabama and Devin Smith cooking them downfield!
