Does it run good... mileage on gasoline...how much

@@annstutzman2524 it runs perfectly. Averaging about 17 mpg on the highway and 13-14 in the city with the 5.7 liter motor.

No price. Always means they are asking way to much for an old gas guzzling money pit. If everything mechanically hasn't been replaced recently then get ready to spend a ton of cash to fix it. It's worth about $4000. If it has like 75,000 miles on it. At most.

And I though I took great care of mine. As for the guy talking money pit and at 75000miles this is about $ 4000 no way Charlie. 1st of all this world has transitioned the last 25 to 35 yrs as a throw away world. That 97 has be Kid glove cared for. And my guess is they rarely drove it in rain , snow , ice. Meaning the under carriage is probably as rust free as the rest. I have my own 05 1500 express. And I didn't wait for things to go bad. It's my Pride n joy , has 117000 on it. At 15 yrs old I started replacing suspension parts , and all belts , blower motor , entire AC system lines compressor and anything else that was ac related. Why , because I was still working 60 hrs a week on a regular bases and love it , so I intend to keep it. New rims and tires. New water pump , new battery. And full check up of Breaking system. Call it whatever you want , but to us stickers about Retro & Vintage , and the oldies n goodies that were meant to last , mine will be a 1 owner ride til it's death.
