Funny you say that. I mean there's plane company "Tower Air" in the scene. T-O-W-E-R, with a P-L-A-N-E. And listen to that announcement on the speakers: "TOWER AIR LINE 1511 TO BOSTON". 1+5=6. 611, flip it upside down, it's 911. Basic numerology used in Hollywood. Would be just a coincidence, if it wasn't in pretty much every god damn (no pun) movie having these same messages. Wake up, people please!

It appears that Audrey isn’t ready for this relationship to be in the next level with Jerry. She’s only doing this for Max so that Fletcher doesn’t have to break his promises with him
@afriendofbean
@afriendofbean 2 жыл бұрын
@Happy Pretty Audrey did tell Fletcher that she will tell Max that he (Fletcher) will be coming to the house and she told Fletcher that if he doesn't show up (which would mean he lied) and if Max has a heartbreak look on his face, she and him will move to Boston. In the scene when Fletcher was arrested and held in contempt, Fletcher called Audrey asking him to bail him out but she refused assuming he was lying again and just left for the airport. Then here in this scene, maybe she was having a guilty feeling that maybe he was telling the truth feeling she should have bailed him out. Fletcher was lucky that his secretary who hated him bailed him out.

It was taxiing. Otherwise the stairs would have had no chance. I'm assuming you've never taxied at Schipol airport, for example. I'm sure that my taxi ride to the airport was a similar distance.
@afriendofbean

@Ken Hollis The airplane was still wheeling it's way towards the runway and when the pilot said "ready for takeoff" that meant it was getting close to the runway. But yes, if the airplane was on the runway, Fletcher never would have been able to wheel his way towards the window where Max was.

@MrKockabilly
@MrKockabilly Жыл бұрын
You question that the runway is very long? How about: - can an ordinary man (a lawyer) drive, let alone operate the hydraulics, of that motorized boarding stairs? - get into airports restricted areas with ludicrous moves that attract attention? - a taxing airplane is still generally faster than a wheeled motorized boarding stairs, how come? - get near that massive airplane and peek thru each window without accident? - the family seeing their man's face outside a plane window without screaming? - not get into prison for disturbing a plane about to take off, putting all the passengers at risk and delays? But all these works because this movie requires the suspension of disbelief. Great movie, really.

Movies back then were absolutely magical in storytelling and scope. The beautiful scores were final icing on the cake 🎂. There's no magic or inspiration anymore 😢, seems to be all political and personal agendas and corporate profit. I've noticed that most movie scores sound very generic with "NO" hearts or emotions. I really want to bringing the back those types of movies that I grew up with ever since I was toddler and younger ages in 2000s era with more "Absolutely Magical", "Storytelling" and "Scope". Even more "Heart and Emotion". There totally needs to be a time when humans really need to make a "True" animated movie that touched the soul and heart of the viewers of all ages. Somebody hand-drawn and computer animation, it's not just the movies, TV shows as well for all ages on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and the Walt Disney company needs to take there place in the circle of animations shows and movies for everyone. I hope sometimes in the future, My family would see the newspaper or different articles on the internet of their own cellphones 📱 about I finally got my dream job as "Ian Cassidy save the Walt Disney Company for bringing the 2-D animated style in order pay homage and tribute to past Disney's 2-D animated style movies were made in old glory days". "Ian Cassidy made his promise to have more Magic and/or Inspiration from 2-D animated movies from Disney."Walt Disney Company made an agreement with Ian Cassidy to have Disney's 2-D animated style movies to have music to be more Heart and Emotion with Absolutely Magical, Storytelling and Scope as well". "The Walt Disney Company celebrated Ian Cassidy's birthday party for being our Savior of bringing the old school Disney 2-D animated style movies." I'm thinking Disney stuff never meant always for kids, it's for everyone, mostly adults, back in the day, same with Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, unlike nowadays. Everything is for kids and family. Movies back then taught us about the importance of friendship, loyalty, kindness, compassion, determination, etc. A lot of movies do that, but there are still some good ones. The main ones that are awful to me are intentionally bad just for money, a cash grab. 😒 Cause The old Disney movies were so awesome. I had a little dark things that you don't see now those days in Disney movies. Movies still have an important message, though, but the movies are too sweet. There's a video Looney Tunes that they are soft and not that dangerous silliness we know. Because it's saver for the kids? I mean I can understand kids now those days are misunderstanding and would do anything for likes and views but making the cartoons soft won't change the fact that they grow up to be misunderstood, they become uncaring anyways because of the internet. People became too soft, with real snowflakes. Wow, I really missed the good old days when Cartoons were good. Today, it's a quick cash grab, with the use of effects and big names in the movies. I love the storytelling part, the sending a message to the audience, that's what should be, the soul and heart needs to come back in films and Hollywood became too powerful, meaning they can get away with making bad movies. Back then, movies had individualist them. Today, it's about ideas like social justice and feminism. Those ideas take away from the true hero's journey and make it difficult to identify with the characters. This is the reason so many people nowadays just stick with the older movies, and the ones grew up with them because that's precisely what those kinds of movies did for them. They were heartfelt, funny, for all the ages, full of value, and are consistently good every time you watch them. While one of the purposes was the company to make money, they still wanted to deliver a quality product to the viewers, and it feels like they've lost that. We took for granted 💔 how well animated movies in the 1990s and 2000s were, outside the animation being revolutionary for its time, the writing was also well written that even being 30. I can still watch movies like Ice Age (2002) and actually enjoy them. Yes, and a lot have avoided those powerful, morally complex stories in favor of something safer. Sure, the effects look amazing, but the heart isn't there anymore, The Toy Story series is an exception because all fours are capable of rivaling each other. Who says that Disney movies are just for kids? Adults can watch it as well, They have some life lessons which apply to both kids and adults. For example, what do we learn from The Little Mermaid, from my perspective, that movie learned us that never sell yourself to an evil person, also if the deal is bad, don't take it. What about Cinderella? It taught us that dreams can come true and that no matter with circumstances, they are always good and kind. What about Pocahontas? Love conquer all, and one must find their own way, other movies that have powerful messages, and excellent music. Nowadays, everything must be political ,which is sad and heartbreaking 💔. I definitely want to bring it back for my dream job in the future. Movies today are made to appeal to as wide an audience as possible and make as much money as possible. Back in the day, while profit and marketability were important, producers and directors had more freedom to be creative and make movies that were original, innovative, and memorable. People think it's all nostalgia goggles and being unfair to modern movies, but no. It's all the value and quality of the movies back then, the delivery, lessons, everything all that is gone nowadays. Technology creates the story these days, not the soul of the writer. Like how back in the old good days, we didn't over-analyze anything. We just sat back and enjoyed stuff. 😉 Animated movies are not like what they once were. The effort, the details, and the passion just aren't there anymore in modern animated movies, really sad. Movies nowadays are made by algorithms, not people. Today's cartoons don't have as many good, fun, and exciting masterpieces as the old cartoons. Too political... everything has to have "a message"... and the sense of pure fun is missing. I also find alot of movies nowadays try to be comedy's with over the top cringey dialogue and try way to hard to be funny, Not everybody wants to be laughing throughout the entirety of the movie (Or so they expect us to be laughing).It seriously is heartbreaking to see all that hard work and time people put into a film only for it to be completely thrown out near the end because studio executives lost faith in it. I can't imagine how frustrating that is. We don't want or need a joke every two seconds. Just give us a movie where the serious scenes don't get ruined by an out of place joke. That's not how movies should be made. Technology is supposed to simplify our lives and should not mean taking responsibilities away from us altogether. Box Office movies nowadays wouldn't even hold a candle even to a classic cartoon like This (The Land Before Time) in terms of depth and feel. Those big hits feel like they are just watched because of their name brand, not because of the quality itself at all. Once you watch them, they make you feel like you just wasted your time leading up to it and the huge money of it, too. That's why I feel like a winner when I don't watch the movies of this decade or even the past decade.

Trust me, it was a question. It's one of those hidden societal rules, kind of like how someone asks you how you are in greeting and then you ask the same question, even though you both know that neither of you care about how the other person really is. When someone says "I love you" (in a romantic way) usually they're asking if you love them back.

How did Fletcher actually stop the plane from taking off? Did it have something to do with him hijacking the flight of stairs?
@agentspencer7739
@agentspencer7739 Жыл бұрын
He was directly in line with the plane on the runway during the take off and he literally threw a shoe at the pilot's windshield. All of these actions I believe warranted an immediate halt as it's a security risk.

@@agentspencer7739 I think the plane was just taxing from the terminal. It was only once they stopped it that they’d got to the runway. Also, if you look from 2:40 to 2:43 there is another plane going faster and pointing upwards about to take off which meant that that one was already on the runway. I don’t think Fletcher would’ve been able to have stopped the plane or even got near to it, had it have been on the runway, since it would’ve already taken off. I just wasn’t exactly sure how he managed to disrupt the flight by stopping the plane. I wasn’t aware that it was to do with him throwing his shoe at the window and windshield. I just imagined him doing it by hijacking the stairs, as that’s what the pilot said.
@agentspencer7739

@@georgemiddleton3315 The plane had picked up considerable amount of speed and it has to cover a good distance before taking off. It wasn't at peak take off speed that's for sure as there is no way the flight of stairs truck would be able to match that speed. Either way, a person on the runway riding any vehicle right alongside a plane and throwing object which could potentially hit the engine is an obvious risk. So I believe it's a combination of both which could have trigged them to stop the plane. I'm also a bit curious when Fletcher actually manages to stop the plane, he crashes into a guard rail just a few seconds later. Now is there a possibility they ran out of runway space?
