This is the final video in the Toyota Hilux build series.
Part 3 of the restoration showing some of the comfort and mechanical upgrades and fixes.
Its on its way to the USA and will be looking for a new forever home!
This has been a labor of love on my part...my love of the process and of the truck itself, these vehicles are an iconic part of the Toyota line and are still in production today. Channels like ‪@TopGear‬ and ‪@whistlindiesel‬ have put more work into showing what these things can do then I could ever do, so please watch those videos and see for yourself.
What I can say is that it was a satisfying process for me and although this one is on its way to the West Coast of the USA for sale, I will be building another custom one for myself someday soon and will be sharing the project with all.

Awesome. I am curious about the cost of restoration and initial purchase price. Customs, tax etc. Stupid me I paid full price for a new gas powered Tacoma in the USA

I believe I answered this in another comment, if you don't see it, let me know. Funny thing is either one, a redone Hilux or a brand new Tacoma will last another 30 years...but you get two for one with the Hilux! maybe three...hahaha

which model of AC compressor did you install? which is the model which was recommended and sold to you?

I do not have that information right now, I had the installation done at an AC shop and they provided the parts. I can look for a model # when it arrives to the US and let you know. Saludos!

what material did you use to redo the carpet...or were you able to get a full carpet and just install ??

Had a local professional installer come in and do it, was pleased with the work and detail.
