We recommend you to get the updated washer fluid reservoir if you haven't done so. Over time, that top part will become brittle due to the hood cover baking it, then it'll crack and start leaking. This is an easy job to do. Less than 5 mins.

I want to thank you for this video. I replaced my washer fluid reservoir for $55.00 tonight myself versus the roughly $340.00 I was quoted to have it replaced for at the dealership. That would be some expensive labor for a pretty simple task.

Good video, a really easy fix. I would suggest instead of WD40, silicone paste that is made for plumbing work is better. It is thicker and will hold up better over time.

Took me less than 5 minutes to get R done....! Keep your old lid from your old tank just incase you need a spare .. Works Great ... Thanks for the Great Video...!

Excellent video, thank you very much for making it. Toyota wanted $350 to do this. I bought the new and improved washer fluid reservoir and pump on Ebay for $30. Thanks again, really helped me out, whole process only took me 15 minutes.

Great video cost me $55 for the part would have cost $200 for mechanic to fix took me 5 min. There is also a screen filter that goes in mouth of bottle to remove and put in new bottle.

If your old tank has a screen in the fill hole, and the screen is still intact, I suggest moving the screen to the new tank.
