Sorry if the camera holding is a little rough. Made this right before I sold the Buick a few months ago. Easily one of my most favorite cars I’ve owned.

One thing I love about older Buick’s is how the windshield wipers lower out of your view. Our Regal does that too

Many gm vehicles of the time did that and yes I do love it. My 2000 ws6 is the same.

This was my first car! It was perhaps not the coolest car to have at the age of 22ish but hey, it was a car, and it was mine. :P It had lot of rust though, they put so much salt on our roads here, it just kills cars. So I only ended up keeping it for a few years. The dash on this one looks a bit more modern than mine, I had an older style speedometer that was more like a bar. Very smooth ride though! If I had more room to store a vehicle I would have kept it even when it was no longer road worthy as it would have made a cool project car.

I bought wife's grandma's 98 Lesabre for my daughter about' 1.5 years ago with 89k miles and almost mint for $1k. She kept plastic on the floors so carpet and mats are new, and a towel on the back dash which is still new. Of course, age can wear mechanical parts so I have replaced tensioner pulley and getting ready to do motor mounts and shocks. The spark plugs and wires were still the original from when she bought new but I replaced as soon as I got the car. The A/C vacuum line deteriorated a couple months after I got it which caused the AC to only blow through defrost vents, so I quickly replaced that vacuum line in about 15 minutes and blowing like brand new! The car is now another back up vehicle since I bought daughter a new Jetta for college commute 90 miles round trip, but I love that it has been reliable, well taken care of and pretty east to fix when needed and still would not hesitate to drive this thing across the U.S. if urgently needed to.

What do you think of the new Nissan kicks?

G H I’m pretty neutral about it. I’d lease one if I were in that market. Seems like a different, quirky car!

BlakesCars2 My Grandma just traded in her 97 Grand Prix GT on a kicks and the deal breaker for me is the CVT. Unlike my aunt 2014 Altima it does mimic gears but I still don’t like it, but other than that it’s a nice car.
