So when Vette-Lights came out with a new version (Gen2) of their hamburger C5 Corvette tail lights, I just had to get them. They are very cool compliment the car very well. They also go very well with the other Vette-Lights I have on our car. This new version also has a switch so you can turn the halo part of the lights on or off. That way if you like the hamburger bun version, you just flip the switch to ON and all the lights will be ON. I'm going to run with the halo part off for a while and see how they work. They are also very bright so I won't have an issue of not being seen at night without the halo part lit. I am not going to say this is my last set of tail lights because I've learned to never say never....Hope you like them as much as I do.

I have v1 and like them. V2 look good. I can't decide which ones look better. Guess it's in the eye of the beholder. Nice car you have!!

I like the V2 better because I can switch them to look like the V1 if that's what I at the time. Best of both worlds really.

I *REALLY* like those!! I do have the "laser" sidemarkers... my halo tail lights are a out 10 years old now so I've been thinking of an upgrade. Hmmmmm

I think if you wait and follow the web site you might be able to get the Gen 3. That will have the option of the halo and burger, the halo only, or the burger only. Then you can have them anyway you feel like.

Thanks, I agree 100%on that too. Man, can't afford to drive the damn thing anymore. Premium here is $5.40. Gas jump $0.30 overnight.

They sure are. And one of the reasons I got rid of the painted/cleared ones I had on at one time. They weren't bright enough during the daytime.

Hi Kevin, I bought the lights from a company called Vette-Lights. Here's the link: www.vette-lights.com/ I love their lights and especially the tinted one. I tried the painted tint on some red ones but the brightness just wasn't there for daytime driving. These work great day or night. You won't be disappointed if you get a set. Let me know if you need any other info.

I personally like the tinted look on a blue tint car. The red to me is to bright to show off the color of the car. That's just my taste though. It would look great with the tinted version. 😎👍

Honestly I haven't checked with the state of Nebraska. I'm going to assume they are as they have to be visible from 100 feet(?) away??? I'll do some research and let ya know. Maybe check with your local police or maybe some law enforcement.

State law here says the red tail lights have to have the red light visible from 500 feet behind the vehicle. So if your state says the same thing I'd say you should be good to go if you buy them. 😉👍

Would these lights comply with European or Australian laws. From this end I think they would. Anyone else have any views?

Lights look great on the silver vet…hey on the 3rd Brake light does it only come on if pressing the brake?
